About Channel Islands
The Channel Islands are an archipelago in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy in France.
They are divided into two British Crown Dependencies, the Bailiwicks of Guernsey and Jersey. The former includes the islands of Alderney, Sark and Herm, while the smaller islands are divided between the two bailiwicks.
Ideally situated between England and France, the channel islands are well connected by ferry on both sides of the channel.
