Tangier is a port city located in the Northern coast of Morocco.
The port is in the heart of the city and just a few minutes from the amazing ancient medina of Tangier.
Tangier is not the main port in the area and most ferry companies moved their crossings to the newer port of Tangier Med when it opened some years ago.
Tangier port does however still offer daily connections with Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar.
The Cafe Hafa in Tangier is a fantastic place to enjoy see views. From the terrace you can even see the Spanish coast when the weather is nice. The mint tea is worth a try!
Tangier Ferry Port can be reached by following the N16 and then following the signs to the ferry port.
Trains arrive and depart from Tanger Morora station which is easily reachable by foot from the port.
