"Getting off the Ferry"
The trip was fine. A little trouble trying to charge my phone. Not many places to charge. Otherwise extremely pleasant. Upon arriving though there was a PROBLEM getting off the boat. I was a foot passenger and apparently we are let off last. There was a slight accident with the cars below and no one was allowed to leave the boat. It was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL!! as I had to get to PISA Airport for a flight. I had left myself a little more than two hours which should've been fine but we were on the boat for ONE HOUR and were not given a disembark time. Just that we had to wait. It was really terrible. Also, I did not appreciate that the man seemingly in charge put his arm around me as if that would make it all alright. Very inappropriate.
"Tutto ok!"
Personale gentile, cabine dignitosamente spaziose e luminose, mri tavolni e sedie disponibili per passaggio ponte. Consiglio portare con se una maglia in più causa condizionatori. Cibo ottimo a prezzo ragionevole.
"Corsica trip"
Great trip, friendly crew, fast rough sea support services. Outbound and return very punctual. Great trip.
"Corsica Ferries Savona to Bastia"
Ship was on time, the load and unload went very efficiently. Well organized harbor crew. Ticket price for the two trips was very reasonable.
"THE BEST"
Add more seats. Instal few free water dispenser.. To swallow two tablet I had to buy a bottle of water.
"Corsica 2015"
For the second time we travel with Corsica Ferries from Savona to Bastia with the camper, Comfortable and fast journey, friendly and helpful staff, the only drawback was the supporters of the Bastia soccer club.
"Livorno/Bastia"
It was a nice crossing with Sardinia Ferries. Good service and there was also a swimming pool.
"Corsica Jounrey"
Excellent journey, punctual, kind staff... Ok
"Ferry to Corsica"
Very good organisation. Very fast boarding. The food in the restaurant was really nice and in good price. You have to arrive to the port at least 45-60 min before departure. Bastia-Livorno the ferry left the port 2 min before the departure time . You need just the booking number with you. Have anice trip!
"Transfer to Moby Lines"
A few days before departure we were informed through Directferries that the trip to Livorno was rebooked to Moby Lines as a result of technical problems. This review is therefore about Moby and Corisica Ferries. (Departure Nice - Bastia)
"Enough"
Staff was rude and not very professional, very good service in the garage, good cleaning inside and bad outside.
"ALMOST all good ;)"
Perfect journey the outbound one. The return insteas was a kind of mess, we arrived in Golfo Aranci at 8pm. The departure was a 8.30pm. The harbor was deserted. We asked information to a man there and he told us that all the departure were moved to the Olbia port. No one from the agency informed us. So we run to Olbia and we embarked ath 8.20 and the ship has sailed 5 minuts after... Next time would be nice of you let us know this kind of stuff (like who purchased the ticket directly with Sardinia Ferries). apart from this everything went well.
"Bastia - Livorno ferry"
Really pleasant experience on upper sun deck with bar and music and a piano bar inside. Very efficient and good value. Only disappointment being that foot passengers were, unusually, let off last which added another, unnecessary 40 minutes to the trip. If you are traveling from Bastia do give yourself at least an hour before departure as you have to both collect your ticket at the port (which may take time) and then get a navette to the ship.
"Good trip but..."
The crossing was fast and comfortable, restaurant and bar prices too expensive. There is no coordination between the ferry company and the local transport in Golfo Aranci. There were no trains or bus to Olbia at 6.30 pm when the ferry arrived, so I took a taxi and it was really expensive.
"corsica sardinia ferries"
Nice trip for all of us. The ferry was on time on the route to Golfo Aranci, but a littlle bit late on the Livorno route.
"Golfo Aranci -Livorno, 17th of September"
The journey was fine, but we arrived 30minutes later to Livorno. The sea wasn0t rought and we departured on time
"Great ferry"
On time and confortable, go value for money in the bar and restaurant
"all good"
all good
"return trip 27/08/14"
1 hour and half late for a 4hours crossing. Congrats
"additional cost at the port"
during the check in at the port they asked us to pay 107€ for the extra width of our camper, just because on the website I couldn't do it.
"slow boarding"
garage without lift, we had a 2years old child and my wife pregnant… boarding process too slow, 1 hour
"Good trip and good efficient service on board"
Efficient check-in: all you need is a copy of your voucher to go on board, without collecting the tickets. Excellent facilities on board. Very friendly staff, everything is fast and easy. Even the toilets on the main deck were clean after so many people got seasick during the crossing. Savona is a very nice harbour and so easy to reach from the highway!
"trip to Corsica"
departure on time and good service
"Adventure"
We went to Corsica for the first time with our three children and a caravan, what an exciting adventure. For the children, travelling by boat was something they looked forward to. We, as parents, were worried and thought something might go wrong. Are we going to arrive on time? Will the cabin be clean and big enough for all of us? We kept asking ourselves all those questions but everything was fantastic. The cabin, a luxury outside cabin was spacious and accommodated the whole family. We slept well and arrived on the island the next morning. Before we travelled, I had a lot of questions about the trip and all of them were quickly answered by Direct Ferries. See you again next year!
"excellent trip Corsica-Livorno"
excellent trip with DirectFerries, on time, clean and friendly staff
"Crossing Bastia-Livorno"
Everything was well arranged for a smooth and enjoyable crossing. Only, the restaurant should have stayed open longer for the afternoon sailing so that around 5pm, passengers can get something to eat before leaving the ship at 6.30pm.
"Corsica ferry"
Very pleasant journey, with deck chairs and friendly stuff.
"Good schedule but too expensive"
We appreciate that the ship was on time (on the outbound even 10 min early) and the staff is very friendly. We found a great accomodation at the lounge bar but just because the ship was half empty (28 june-12july) I think because of the price. In 2009 I paid half money for the route Genova-Bastia, but my payslip is not double now. I can't use the ferry to travel if it's that expensive.
"Overnight ferry recomended"
It was a pleasant trip with good food ,tablenservice, and cabin was basic but clean with good shower and beds. Felt refreshed after the overnight trip from Bastia to Savona. Can recommend it!
"perfect"
perfect trip and excellent service
"travel experience to Corsica"
The trip was fine. Departure and arrival times didn't differ from what was planned. Check in time of 1hr 30min was a little long, one hour should be sufficient. The English & the info from the sound system on board is hard to understand. When it's hot outside then take a jacket for indoors, as the temperature is a bit low. For those who love camping, Bastia and Savona have the best campsites which are also open at night.
"ALMOST JUST AS SATISFIED AS THE LAST YEARS"
We travel to Corsica with Corsica Ferries each year and for the past couple of years, we've been very pleased. This year we were immensely disturbed by sleeping passengers on the sofas in the restaurant is. You're too cosy reading something with a drink and next to you are people snoring on the couch. They bring their own drinks, lay barefoot under their sleeping bags and on the benches and don't care if something is said to them. Maybe next year we shouldn't book any cabins, we should just find a nice cosy couch in the restaurant. We will not be doing this but hope to stay Corsica Ferries customers.
"Happy with our crossing"
We'd like to thank Paolo Ragusa from the reception. He was very helpful and gave use a cabin for the outbound crossing. We made a mistake during our booking. We really appreciated his kindness and professional attitude
"QUICK AND EFFICIENT"
The boarding and the disembarkment were quick. The pasta at the restaurant were good.
"Enjoyed it"
