"So easy"
It was a great trip and would consider repeating if I was visiting Corsica again. The only thing I would perhaps change is that I wouldn't pay to reserve seats. We did but then spent the trip sunning ourselves or in one of the dining areas, playing scrabble. With a decent choice, the food was ok.
"Good trip"
On time, well organised, avoided chaos from so many comings and goings
"Recommended"
Good experience with this company, affordable and friendly staff.
"reliable ferry operator"
Travelled with Corsica Ferry from Nice to Corsica. Went well, punctual, good accommodation.
"Crossing to Bastia"
The crossing was well organized. However, the cars were parked just far too close to each other. It was impossible to get tothe driver's side. When leaving the ship in Bastia, we had to wait half an hour because one of the vehicles had a defect. The cabins were neat and comfortable. The restaurant staff and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. A great experience!
"Staff"
The staff where a bit pushy to get us out of our cabins in the morning.
"GOOD TRIP"
This was a pleasant trip. Seats comfortable. Good dining options- snacks, self serve buffet & restaurant. The dining options on this trip are superior to what Tirrenia offers on its overnight Cagliari to Palermo trip. We did this after the Nice-Bastia trip.
"Perfect crossing"
The perfect crossing between Corsica - France and Corsica - Italy and vice versa. Booking through Directferries went well but the tickets needed to be printed on arrival in Bastia.
"Very good"
The trip was smooth and without any problems. All is well organized and efficient. The ferry is overall clean and the staff is nice. The reclining seats could use some reparations.
"Great Experience"
We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service obtained , quality of food ..The upgrade to a cabin was well worth it.
"trip to Corsica"
all good
"Ferry Trip"
We traveled with Corsica/Sardinia Ferries from Nice to Bastia as foot passengers in August 2014. It was a most pleasant journey. Our bags were stored in the baggage room and so we were free to roam the ship. We took the sun up bu the pool and had dinner before we landed in Bastia. The staff were most helpful and friendly. I would recommend this company for travel to the islands.
"Why does it have to be so cold?"
The ferry left Toulon two or three hours late so I was very tired when I went on board and it didn't occur to me I'd need a sleeping bag to keep warm. I've very seldom felt so cold - I had to take a walk around the ferry every hour through the night to keep my blood circulating. It's good value, but I can't see why it needs such intense air conditioning.
"Travel experience "
The port of Nice is very hard to access at noon, which may cause delays. The journey on the calm sea was relaxing and the drinks on board were delicious.
"Great"
Everything is perfect. It's clean and people are kind.
"everything was perfect"
It was my first journey with Corsica Ferries for Ajaccio and everything was perfect. It was like a short cruise. Thank you. I'll come back again.
"A crossing with Corsica ferries"
Our crossing with Corsica ferries went well and was very pleasant. We didn't have to face strikes like SNCM clients.
"Pleasant journey"
It was our first time with this company. Great crossing. The port in Nice is very busy and not very well sign posted. The ferries were pleasant and spacious. Conclusion: we would choose this company again, but from a different port.
"Ajaccio Toulon crossing"
The crossing would have been great if the AC hadn't been so cold in the ferry.
"A CROSSING ABOARD YOUR FERRY"
A very beautiful and clean boat. The staff is available, it's nice to be able to take the dog, although it's a bit costly. The boarding is well organised, especially with a campervan. Everything was good for us, there is no need to hesitate to do the crossing with your company.
"Our review crossing 23/06/2014"
It's not our first time travelling with Corsica Sardinia Ferries and we're always pleased with the services. I'm not sure if it was the Mega Express Four, didn't pay attention to that.
"Directferries ok"
We've been travelling regularly to Corsica for a long time, but it's the first time we booked through directferries. The service was good and the fare interesting. However, the prestation of Corsica Ferries are still really average (the toilets of the Mega Express Five were dirty, the food is expensive, there are not enough seats for everyone...)
"A return journey from Toulon to Ajaccio"
It's well organised. The loading of the vehicles is impressive and synchronised. The boats were confortable and luxurious. We appreciated the little samples, the bathroom, the bedding!! The only regret is that you cannot enjoy the sea. I would have like to have a walk on the external parts of the boat and enjoy the sea breeze... The fares are very random. We compared with several motobikers and noone had paid the same price?? Otherwise, we are satisfied with the service and really intend on renewing the experience.
"Beautiful but noisy trip"
Our first impression of Corsica Sardinia Ferries was that it was a big ferry with all facilities needed. Several restaurants, an outdoor pool area, and lots of places to sit down. The staff is ok and the boat is Clean. A minus that we couldn't buy breakfast at the first café where we sat down - even though it had a breakfast menu. A plus for the tasty and priceworthy breakfast that was served in another restaurant. The reason why we don't give Corsica Sardinia Ferries the highest grade is because of the really loud music that was played all the time out in the pool area. It almost ached the ears and the loud speakers were of bad quality as well. Otherwise it was a nice trip.
"Corsica by sea"
The Mega Express 4 was a pleasurable way to travel from Bastia back to Nice. The staff were efficient and friendly, seating was comfortable in a range of different styles and locations throughout the ship and the check in process ran smoothly with the ship leaving on time. My husband and I truly enjoyed the experience and would travel again by ferry.
"announcements"
It's difficult to understand the announcements in French
"A pleasant crossing"
The journey was good, despite a weather which wasn't that good, until the stopover in Calvi which wasn't announced and made the journey longer.
"Crossing Corsica"
We had booked our outwrad journey from Nice to Bastia and the return journey from Ile-Rousse to Nice. The outward journey went perfectly. Everything on board was excellent. We wanted to return earlier so we changed the date at Corsica Ferries in Calvi. The departure port changed from Ile-Rousse to Calvi. There was an additional charge for this: about €60.00. This crossing too went as we desired, Our booking with DirectFerries was also without any problems.
"very good"
Pedestrians should board first. Otherwise, it was perfect. The boat was on time.
"Ferry journey Corsica"
Reurn journey was fine. Outward journey of seven hours is a bit long for me personally.
"Stress"
Our scheduled Nice Calvi crossing appeared to be cancelled. We arrived in Nice a day early to be sure we wouldn't miss our sailing. On May 7 we went to the check-in desk in Nice where we were told that the ferry wasn't going. The alternatives were to change the date or reroute to Toulon. We had one and a helf hour to drive from Nice to Toulon, via a toll road and by exceeding the speed limit several times we only just made it there in time. As a form of compensation I was given a discount coupon with a value of €15. The toll and extra fuel are already worth a multitude of that. What annoyed us most is that we hadn't been informed beforehand, via email or by phone. We could've booked a hotel in Toulon and saved ourselves a lot of stress and extra costs.
"a good crossing"
A good service, the staff was available, it was clean, the boat was beautiful and nice. Plus, it's nice to be able to keep your dog with you (although this is a costly advantage). The schedule was respected.
"Nice -calvi - nice"
Journey with Corsica Sardinia Ferries Well organised, everything was right on time, good service on board and great meals for reasonable prices. Recommended.
"Really good"
