"Reliable prompt service"
Reliable prompt service. The only criticism would be that the restaurant service (not self service) was a muddle.
"Absolutely unsatisfied"
Absolutely unsatisfied. We called so many times Direct Ferries to change the departure date. No answer and we paid all the calls. . At the end we asked directly Corsica Ferries. Too long the landing and indecent toilets.
"Good trip"
Sailing on board of a ferry is just like a short cruise, very nice

"Good trip"
On time, well organised, avoided chaos from so many comings and goings
"Without problems"
Apart of a massive delayed for return trip the rest was fine.
"Livorno -Basta"
All ok
"Sheer Joy."
WE sailed with Corsica Sardinia Ferries from Bastia to Nice at the beginning of Oct. 2014. It's a five and a half hour trip and it has been our most enjoyable ferry trip ever.Calm seas, warm sunshine, sun deck and deckchairs and an enjoyable breakfast made the trip feel like a mini cruise. I have to admit that our main ferry journeys have all been on the Irish sea in recent years, but nonetheless I would like to applaud Corsica Sardinia Ferries.
"Nice to Ajaccio"
First of all the port of Nice:- There are two areas of the port where you can board the ferries, one on each side of the port or harbour, approx 20 mins walk from each other. There is a small mini bus that runs between each of them. However there does not appear to be any way on knowing, certainly not in English which side/office to go to. Other than that everything went very smoothly. The ferries:- All the 'Corsica Ferries' which we travelled with seem to be based in Genoa, so the crew is mostly Italian, which wasn't a problem, but a little unexpected. The ferries were well run and clean, with good food and helpful staff, would certainly recommend them if travelling from southern France to either Bastia or Ajaccio in Corsica.
"Bon Voyage"
Just completed 2nd vacation in Corsica after annual meetings in Monte Carlo. Last year booked ferry from Nice to Il Rousse, this year Nice to Bastia. Nice to Bastis is 2 hours longer trip and much larger fery with more accomodations in therms of cabins and food. Ferry departed and arrived on schedule. Boarding is always a bit chaotic with cars and trucks and motor bikes off boarding but everyone behaves with civility and the traffic officials kept things under control. Ferry staf handling boading process was excellent, very efficient, informative, courteous and helpful. we upgraded to a small cabin for additona 15 euros which was reasonable since it provided privacy, sleeping, showering and a porthole to see out and allow natural light to come in. It didn't make sense that you couldn't have access to the cabin till 30 minutes after departure ANS we were asked to leave the cabin 1 hour before arrival. The cabin cleaning staff were very rude when we interected with her. Food and wait staff were very good considering the fact that this is a ferry for transpotation and not meant to be a cruise. Many pets were on board which is fine and they seemed to have good accomodations for the animals. All things considered it was good value for the money and a pleasant trip. Hope to use Corsica Ferries for years to come.
"August / September 2014"
Both ways to and from Corsica were great. The crew really know how to load/unload the vehicles, which save you time and wandering around. Nice and clean cabins, arrival on time, very nice trip, indeed!
"Crossing from Bastia to Nice"
Very friendly staff. My daughter who was on crutches was immediately allowed to use the elevator and escorted upstairs by a crew member. Also, the food and the breakfast were delicious!!!! Shame there was no water in the pool. Very recommendable.
"Trip to Corsica"
Our journey to Corsica with this ferry was very good. We did not travel with car, so it was not easy to know where to board the ship as a foot passenger. This should have been signaled better.
"Fun alternative to flying "
I caught the 5 hour ferry from Nice to Corsica just to experience the trip. I didn't have a car on the ferry. I loved it. It was easy to do, and the ferry was fun. I paid a little extra for a reclining chair and was very pleased that I did. I was comfortable and the food that I purchased in the cafeteria was fine. It made a nice change from flying and I would definitely recommend it.
"Our Holiday trip to Corsica started in Nice"
We found the trip a little more exciting. Okay, we’ve travelled by boat to Texel in the past but this is different. Spending more than 6 hours on a boat is not nothing. There were plenty of beach chairs on the deck and when it got too hot, we went inside to one of the many lounges to watch a live World Cup game! It really felt like some kind Love boat. Very relaxed!
"Take the Corsica!"
I recommend this crossing with corsica ferries. Everything is clean. The boat, the cabins, the service.
"A CROSSING TO CORSICA"
A beautiful ferry, a welcoming staff, the inbound journey was punctual. The lack of consideration of some passengers who put their bags on the seats to prevent other people from seating is pityful. Pets should be in a cage and it should be forbiden to walk barefoot on the carpet. I'd like to thank the company again for this pleasant crossing.
"a beautiful crossing"
We enjoyed the crossing in spite of some swell
"A crossing between Nice and Bastia"
Very good overall, departure and arrival on time. The bar staff is neither very cheerful nor nice!
"A trip to Corsica"
We travelled during the day. It was a very good journey, we'll use Corsica Sardinia Ferries again. I just have a comment regarding the inbound ferry (the Mega Express Five I think). It's a shame that the restaurant is located at the centre of the boat without any sea view. However, you can see the sea from the cafeteria.
"Directferries ok"
We've been travelling regularly to Corsica for a long time, but it's the first time we booked through directferries. The service was good and the fare interesting. However, the prestation of Corsica Ferries are still really average (the toilets of the Mega Express Five were dirty, the food is expensive, there are not enough seats for everyone...)
"information"
there are not enough seat to rest during night crosings and not enough benches outside during the day. You also need to plan more space for people with mobility problems to be able to get down of their cars. Otherwise, it was a beautiful crossing.
"A pleasant crossing"
We made this crossing during the day. There are nice areas like the bar or the cafeteria. I would advise first timers to make a good note of their emplacement in the garage. We had a fright searching for our car. Our thanks to this company who thinks of everyone, included our pets.
"A return journey from Toulon to Ajaccio"
It's well organised. The loading of the vehicles is impressive and synchronised. The boats were confortable and luxurious. We appreciated the little samples, the bathroom, the bedding!! The only regret is that you cannot enjoy the sea. I would have like to have a walk on the external parts of the boat and enjoy the sea breeze... The fares are very random. We compared with several motobikers and noone had paid the same price?? Otherwise, we are satisfied with the service and really intend on renewing the experience.
"BASTIA/NICE crossing on 20.06.2014"
We discovered Corsica Sardinia Ferries and our crossing was very pleasant: solarium, accessible areas, Pullman seats, good stability of the Mega Express Five. Plus, the coffee was fairly priced. Keep going like that.
"Stress"
Our scheduled Nice Calvi crossing appeared to be cancelled. We arrived in Nice a day early to be sure we wouldn't miss our sailing. On May 7 we went to the check-in desk in Nice where we were told that the ferry wasn't going. The alternatives were to change the date or reroute to Toulon. We had one and a helf hour to drive from Nice to Toulon, via a toll road and by exceeding the speed limit several times we only just made it there in time. As a form of compensation I was given a discount coupon with a value of €15. The toll and extra fuel are already worth a multitude of that. What annoyed us most is that we hadn't been informed beforehand, via email or by phone. We could've booked a hotel in Toulon and saved ourselves a lot of stress and extra costs.
"a journey to Corsica"
the crossing was very pleasant, especially the return with a most recent boat.
"Really good"
After two journeys with SNCM during which I was told negative things about Corsica Ferries, I am delighted. The boat is really clean, the staff is friendly, unlike with SNCM.
"Crossing Toulon- Corsica v.v."
The crossing with DirectFerries to Corsica in itself was pleasant. There are some great facilities on board and the cabin is well equipped for a good night's rest. But what was a pity in our case is that the return journey was rerouted to Bastia. We were supposed to depart from Ajaccio to go to Toulon but received a phone call the day before and were told that our original service was cancelled and had to go to Bastia to board a ferry there. This meant we had to cross the entire island, which incurred additional time/costs/fuel. Unfortunately DiretFerries has to this day not offered any compensation. It was also very inconvenient that local port personell spoke none or hardly any English, although lots of foreign tourists use this ferry service.
"Very good, but too much music"
The prestations were good. The schedule was respected. There were no problems with the bikes, boarding was quick and easy. The only negative is the music in the solarium which is too loud and prevented us from enjoying the crossing around the pool (we would have prefered to hear the noise of the machine sometimes)
"A pefect trip"
A good see, a good timekeeping, the crew was friendly. Nothing to fault.
"Reliability"
We left on time, we arrived on time. The choreography of people coming in and people coming out is well organised (there's no waste of time). The crossing is pleasant and the staff is going beyond its ways. I'll chose Corsica ferries in the future again!
"Crossing to Corsica in May"
No problem collecting tickets at check in. Quick loading time too and same for disembarkation. The ferry was clean, prices in the restaurant reasonable and staff always available and willing to help. For night sailings better to get a cabin that a Pullman seat as its not too comfortable. We will use Direct Ferries again for our next Corsica Ferries crossing.
"crossing on the 24th of May"
The self service meal is getting better. However, the timekeeping regarding the disembarkment and the exit from the boat could be improved (1h after schedule)
