"Excellent ferry to Corsica"
Punctual ferry, clean and with a good quality/price.
"Good crossing"
We had a smooth crossing of four hours, the boat departed and arrived as scheduled, boarding went smoothly, helping us to ride on board without damage because we have a sports car, very service oriented. The ships are also good, we spent the outbound on relaxing beach chairs in the shade on the deck, On the way back, we stayed in the bar in the lounge chairs. Completely fine and not expensive.
"Corsica Sardinia Ferries Livorno - Bastia"
We traveled on a mid week ferry from Livorno to Bastia after a short visit to Florence and Pisa. Leaving at 11am arriving at 3pm and with a cost of only 22 Euros one way, this was a very comfortable and stress free way to get from the Tuscany area to Corsica. We very much enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and dining areas and taking a couple of hours on the open decks to enjoy the sun on the way over. Overall the quality of service and standards of the ship is very high and we also appreciated that all announcements were given in English, as well as French, Italian and German. The only surprise was the cost of the taxi from Pisa to the ferry which was 65 Euros. We might explore taking the train from Pisa to Livorno as an alternative in future.
"Travel "
Everything was fine and correct.
"I will use it again"
Good!!!
"Inefficient"
It takes a ridiculously long time to drive on the ferry and almost an hour before you get off. Very inefficient. It's extra annoying when the ferry is also 30 min late. Apart from that it's nice on the boat, good opportunities to eat and to sit down outside.
"Travel with Mega Express Three + Corsica Marina"
All good especially with Mega Express Three. Unfortunately we did not book the cabin with Corsica Marina and the night was really long.
"Corsica Jounrey"
Excellent journey, punctual, kind staff... Ok
"Crossing Livorno - Bastia"
Both the outward and return trip between Livorno and Bastia were enjoyable. The ship left on time but the arrival time depended on the weather conditions, which did not differ much from the planned arrival time. The crew was helpful during embarkation and disembarkation, which also went smoothly. Catering was ok. The best part was the open deck and the widespread availability of loungers. Which can be placed anywhere on deck. We had a lovely time sitting in the sun, a nice start and end of the holiday.
"Without problems"
Apart of a massive delayed for return trip the rest was fine.
"Corsica Jounrey"
Excellent journey, better comfort on board the Mega Express on the outbound.
"Ferry to Corsica"
Very good organisation. Very fast boarding. The food in the restaurant was really nice and in good price. You have to arrive to the port at least 45-60 min before departure. Bastia-Livorno the ferry left the port 2 min before the departure time . You need just the booking number with you. Have anice trip!
"trip to corsica"
Crossing from Livorno to Bastia and return, all perfect
"Excellent"
East and quick boarding, don't expect a luxury cruise, it's a simple ship. The food on board is simple but fine.
"Very Nice"
The trip was well organised, left port on time, arrived on time. lots of staff who spoke english for us non french speaking people. All happy, no complaints.
"Smooth sailing"
Easy checkin, bus to ferry from terminal, escalator to deck which was great with heavy suitcases, luggage room to store suitcases during sailing, clean ferry, smooth disembarkation. Only issue, we were told there were shuttle buses from the terminal running into Livorno. However, the only buses we saw at 6 pm on our arrival were all locked up at the exit gates so we had to walk into the main town centre. We didn't use catering so can't comment on the food but the main dining area looked very elegantly set up.
"delays"
The route Bastia-Livorno on the 07/09 was very very late. Dirty ship because of the people everywhere.
"Sundeck to Livorno"
We had a wonderful trip, only had a few delays which apparently were as a result of the busy period. The sun on deck made waiting for the ship to arrive bearable.
"Punctual and efficicient"
The boat left on time and the staff were very efficient and competent. The food was good and the staff were prompt to deal with any spillages or problems. We were foot passengers and we were well looked after. Would recommend.
"return trip 27/08/14"
1 hour and half late for a 4hours crossing. Congrats
"Bastia-Livorno , 22//"
departure on time, good service, comfortable.
"excellent trip"
rough sea but all went good. Departure on time, boarding process is very fast. Recommended
"Livorno-Bastia and return"
We booked with DirectFerries the crossing Livorno-Bastia and return. Departure on time, comfortable seats.
"motorcyclist"
I'm a motorcyclist and I was the first to board the ferry. Great
"Great Crossing"
This was a lovely journey. We had to get up early to catch this so it was nice to be able to go on deck and sleep and sun bath. The snacks were basic but good.
"Great"
Excellent trip. Helpful staff.
"return trip with two ships quite different"
The trip with Corsina Marina was horrible, old and slow ship, garage with bumps to high and the staff was not that professional. All perfect with Mega Express Three. I'll avoid Corsica Marina in future and I can't recommend it.
"Corsica ferry"
Very pleasant journey, with deck chairs and friendly stuff.
"travel"
Positive trip, clean, relaxing and tidy ship. We'll travel again, hoping to find cheap prices
"perfect"
perfect trip and excellent service
"Excellent crossing!"
Our Corsica Ferries crossing which we booked through you went perfectly well. We would only like to comment about the information on the confirmation which stated that tickets had to be collected/activated at the port. This wasn't the case with us because it wasn't necessary. In both Savona and Bastia, the Corsica Ferries port agent activated the tickets for us, using the bar codes on out confirmation. May be the information on the confirmation should be corrected. We hope to make a new booking for our trip next year through your company. Best regards, Ruud Alberts
"A return crossing from Livorno to Bastia with the car"
The outbound journey was certainly nicer, because the Mega Smeralda is more recent and more comfortable. Moreover, the disembarkment was quick and problem free. The inbound journey with Corsica Marina however, the boat was more ancient, people were laying on the floor and the disembarkment was more chaotic. Plus, I thought that the crossing was only lasting for 4 hours, between 2pm and 6.15pm. I don’t understand why you can’t lay down on the numerous deck chairs and sunbathe on the deck or resting inside on the seat with the air conditioning. Who knows? Maybe the staff was more tired or deflated during the inbound journey (translation: not interested in their jobs and rude). Well, you can’t have everything. I will use this company again.
"Long live Corsica ferries"
We are totally satisfied with your services. The boarding and disembarkment were quick, the staff on board was nice, the food was nice, the schedule was respected. We can't wait for next year (2015) to use your services again.
"Livornio - Bastia - Livornio"
Both crossings went well, the only thing lacking are deck chairs aboard the Mega Smeralda. We enjoyed laying on the deck chairs during the 4 hours of the crossing aboard the Corsica Marina.
