"Ferry trip"
P&O definitely more comfortable than DFDS. Passport control is a car crash though. Thanks Brexit voters.
"Nice ferry trip, with live music "
We had go return trip from the UK, we’ll organised and friendly.
"Trip Rotterdam to Hull and return."
Good trip.
"Amsterdam"
We will definitely recommend & use P&O the booking process great. The staff on board - I can honestly say we have NEVER EVER had such efficient, friendly staff. Every one of them are a credit to P & O. No wonder you dont use staff from here!
"Communication, or lack thereof"
My vehicle having broken down in Germany on the return trip, I was completely unable to get through to Direct Ferries or P&O to advise them that I would not be able to make the return journey and to ask for assistance in re-arranging it. Their phone lines were inaccessible and me email to P&O was not responded to. I found the process and the non-accessibility completely unaccaptable. What will you do to address thisappalling "customer service"?completely unacceptable
"Surprisingly fantastic "
First time on this service. Comfortable, cozy cabin for 4, with great shower. The cinema was a great way of chilling after a brilliant meal in the Brasserie.
"Excellent"
A well oiled machine. Front of house staff in The Kitchen Buffet were very professional and offered a first class service. Thank you!
"Cabins and Cruise "
Well in all honesty I found the cabins to be very well equipped, the showers were brilliant, great temperature. I also had a very good night's sleep. I found the cruise, staff, facilities and entertainment to be very welcoming, I had two great journeys.
"P&O staff amazing; but Direct Ferries site not good."
This booking service did not alert me that I would not be able to buy a bus ticket to the ferry terminal in Rotterdam. Soo I was in Rotterdam unable to buy one. The ferry terminal is very far away. It also chargThe staff on the P&O ship were so impressively good with people. So helpful and flexible. So polite and attentive. However the Direct Ferries website t would have to buy through the ferry company
"Rotterdam to hull"
Excellent service
"Enjoyable Experience "
Travelled Hull Rotterdam and return. Great trip and reduced the travelling on continental roads.
"Excellent trip on a VERY full Ship!"
Despite P and O themselves stating the ferry was full, Direct Ferries were able to get us on a very full ferry crossing. As always, the ship was clean, the room was basic but adequate with an excellent shower. The food (evening meal and breakfast) was excellent.
"Hull - Rotterdam"
Very efficient loading and service - sometimes too much ....staff everywhere, particularly in the dining room - sometimes the impression of being under observation, but typically Asian and as the staff is now 98% Asian , this is to be expected. THe food in the Kitchen was good but the warm food was not warm and the plates were cold. The curries were excellent. Very clean. Cabin very clean. No books for sale in the duty-free shops.
"Excellent service and value "
From obtaining tickets to returning home everything was first class
"Hull-Rotterdam"
Great journey. Friendly staff. Easy boarding with car. No catering facilities awaiting Rotterdam return. Dont arrive early and hungry . Customs in Netherlands slick. Upon return UK Border Force woefully understaffed. Wouldn't want to be last off boat.
"Comfort and efficiency "
From arrival at the port for embarkation to parking and finding the cabin the trip went perfectly. Dining in a Brasserie was a delight and arrival at Hull again smooth and punctual.
"nothing to read and long wait on way out"
Lack of choice in shopping. No newspapers or magazines. Exit of vehicles badly managed. We were held up on the ramp for about 20 minutes as lower level trucks etc were brought out
"Ryanair of sea travel"
Cost cutting really shows, dissapointed.
"Rotterdam "
Super
"Rubbish insurance"
Don't book the insurance .. Very difficult if not impossible to claim.
"Great experience "
Our first time using this service (we have used channel crossing before) very easy, amazing staff & facilities.
"Trying hard "
Meeting and greeting on board was good. The drinks were very expensive, £4.50 for a small bottle of beer! The restaurant was clean but all the food was delivered cool and had to be sent back.
"Shaking and rolling"
Ansolutly the most wearst night I ever bin in a Ship, continu shaking with roaring of the motors. And I think the cargo was instabil loaded .. We were seasick, not of the hard wind but de loading of the cargo
"Hull-Rotterdam"
Good crossing and nice boat. Glad to say UK loading sequence much better than Dutch ! Little in the way of cafeteria style eating. Staff magnificent, helpful, polite and diligent.
"All fine"
The stay met all my expectations. Bunk bed is good and large enough.
"Great crossing"
Very professional, good crew Excellent meals
"Great trip"
I can heartily recommend this route. No queue boarding, and we were allowed on at 1700 for the 2000 departure. Very helpful staff and no complaints with the cabin.
"Recent trip on NSF"
P&O offer a great service, the staff are very helpful & polite. Be warned booking with Direct Ferries though if cycling. It is impossible to book two bikes for two people.
"Disappointing loading and unloading "
The loading and unloading on the return trip spoiled the experience. We arrived at check in at 5.30 and finally got on board at 8. We watched all other lanes load and the early people did not move which resulted in deck 7 and then had to wait until 9 pm before we could eat as no room in restaurant. Then found out on deck 7 there was a problem with unloading and took 2.5 hours to leave boat and port and late for work. Really poor
"Trip to Holland "
Having to spend the night on the ferry was fantastic. We get to relax and enjoy a drink with some entertainment. Spend the night and next day head off on your journey.
"Hull to Rotterdam and back"
Great service, but be sure to get there early.
"Trip to Rotterdam "
The service was excellent on board and I felt welcome from the minute I boarded. The entertainment was great catering for all ages and was an added benefit I wasn't expecting. The choice of food was great and to a good standard. Sleeping accomodation was comfortable and just what was needed. Very efficient in boarding and dembarking with motorhome, which I havent done before and was a little nervous but absolutely nothing to worry about. The only disapiontment was that the WiFi was not available but only becuase I was trying to watch the football. My Feedback: Excellent and would recommend to anybody.
"Very good Journey.."
Excellent service, the only down side for me was the Loading and unloading it takes to long.
"Very nice"
Great trip. Great food and entertainment. Will definitely do this again in the future
"Great experience, painful singing"
