"Zurzuban"
I have travelled with transmediteranea before and this ship was not as nice. The food in the restaurant was poor and the cabin room was dirty and old. It smelt so bad that we asked to Change. The staff were nice and it was no problem to change, but the new room was only marginally better. I would take a different boat next time..
"trip to Ibiza"
tout était parfait sur le bateau, propre, rapide, très professionnel,
"Good services better than baleria "
Good service,
"Summer 18"
We travelled as tourists from Palma to Ibiza town with just hand luggage, really easy check-in set up and the ship sailed right on time. It was a 10am ferry, the choice of food wasn’t great so maybe better to take something on board or wait until their lunch service. Seating area was really comfy and the deck/bar area was great for sunbathing and relaxing. After disembarking, we joined the taxi queue but there were no taxis and the number to call didn’t work. However, just follow the foot passenger signs and you’ll find a taxi at the roundabout near the boat clubs/restaurants.
"Very impressed "
I would have no hesitation to use this service again. Booked the extra comfy seat for five euros more and felt like business class. Very friendly and helpful staff.
"Excellent! "
I loved this ship the chairs were comfortable and relaxing.
"Flexibility"
Probably best to pay a small supplement on booking, as unlike any other ferry company I know, if your plans change, then they will charge again and double, even if you are a pedestrian on a nearly empty ship. For that reason I will never travel with them again, nor will any of my trucks, as I call that abuse of power or bullying. Also, it would seem a waste and a limiting of customer choice in choosing time of day of travel to have both companies' ships running at the same time.
"Worst trip so far "
I am disgusted an traumatised by this whole Experience! The fact that you don't have the option to pay your extortionate prices for a cabin if you want to when boarding your ship is a joke! sleeping in a room full of 200 people after paying €260 for a ticket is disgusting! Once finding a ridiculous place to spend a 10 hour journey we was then told to move from our seats to be moved into a room like a heard of sheep with bright lights left on all night an constant noise from everyone else uncomfortable which makes impossible to sleep! I'm honestly shocked at how horrible this journey was for me an my wife while we ended up sleeping on a wooden floor because the chairs were impossible to sleep in! I've used ur service plenty of times before but I will not be after today! You should have the choice to sleep in a cabin especially if your willing to pay the ridiculous €170 an not be told to get away from reception an to stop asking questions. Instead I had to sleep in a room where people are using vending machines all night and waking everyone up every 10 minutes talking, coughing, laughing & joking around. Generally upset with the whole trip itself I now have to drive for 7 hours to reach my destination with no sleep at all! Ive chose your service over baleria numerous times however this will not be the case anymore! Especially paying €260 for the worst trip I've ever had! I have a strong social media following due to my career as a DJ and I will not hesitate to share this in the future.
"Pleasant"
Travelled from Ibiza to Barcelona on the overnight ferry. Very smooth sailing. The access to the ship involved a fair amount of walking, but staff were present at each stage to give directions if needed. I booked a premium seat and that lounge was nearly full. Quite comfortable. About 10 tv screens showing various movies/news were on for about 2 hours, then turned off do people could sleep. Washrooms were within the lounge area. Did not use the cafeteria.
"Super"
no problem
"Ferry to Palma "
Travelling with Trasmediterranea on the ferry to Palma was fine. The lounge was quiet all night, staff were helpful, journey went smoothly. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the discrepancy in the instructions for check in, but that was possibly the fault of the agent used for booking. I was told 120 minutes, even as a foot passenger, which was way over what was required. That meant a lot of hanging about.
"Ferry crossing "
Absolutely fine. There are only two comments to make: 1) lack of a good restaurant 2) lack of overnight crossings ibiza to Barcelona!
"Change of booking not successful"
Disappointed by the fact that I changed a booking for a return ticket from Ibiza. Despite direct ferries having sent me the confirmation of the change, when I arrived at the ferry on the new day Trasmeditterranea said they never received any change of booking. Luckily in the end they let us on the boat even if only after a long begging....
"Pay for a cabin!"
We took the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Ibiza. I would do this again but I would definitely look into the cost and ease of flying as well as it is a long crossing. I booked a four berth cabin for myself and our three daughters and we all slept very well but my husband said that he would rather sit in a seat as he doesn't like small spaces. His experience was terrible as the majority of people who opt to do this nab 3 seats and lie along them which means that those who don't get there early, end up sitting on the floor. This is what happened to him and he did not sleep a wink.
"Frustration"
In 2014 we took the same way from BCN to IBZ, in the way to IBZ, very nice Ferry, DJ playing, nice bar , nice environment. In the way back nice ferry with swimming pool and nice bar and solarium, great for a day cruise. For 2017 I bought with Transmediterranea expecting the same, and was quite a desapointment. The Zubaran ferry is OLD, the bar very bad, the surroundings are horrific. It seems the focus of the ferry was truck drivers which were screaming and shouting and the bar tender was part of it

"Never Again"
At the port tickets were easy enough to collect. We got to the embarkation area 2 hours before sailing time of 11pm. We boarded at 10.45 we'll I did, my wife as a passenger in the car was told she had to walk on as a foot passenger. This was some 15 minutes before I was allowed on. She got lost among lorries where the passengers were told to go. Eventually I found her near the desk where we were issued with our cabin key. We went directly to the cabin to drop our gear & was hoping to get into bed. The toilet was blocked & almost overflowing but I got a guy to clear it fairly quickly. The temperature in the cabin was so high we couldn't stay in it for a couple of hours until the air con had clicked in. The bed was uncomfortable so very little sleep was had at all. We eventually left Barcelona at 12.15 am some 75 minutes late. On arrival at Palma my wife was made to get off again as a foot passenger. The chaos getting cars out was unbelievable. Lorries had been parked so close on the deck above that I must have made 20 point turn to get out. My wife was left early morning in a car park for 30 minutes while we were getting cars off, not very nice at 7am in a port park.
"It was ok"
It was a pleasure trip a bit cold during the night.
" Nice trip"
Nice ferry, more than I expected!
"Crossing to Spain"
Very relaxing trip, crew very helpful, and arrived on time.
"Ibiza Barcelona ferry "
Great crossing, not a big ferry but very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the deck area with the artificial grass! We travelled with a dog and it's great that you can have access to them throughout the crossing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.
"Way better than I was expecting!"
My family and I travelled on the Barcelona - Palma - Barcelona route earlier this month and the whole thing was way better than we expected. The ferries were clean and well maintained. The cabin in particular was spotless and served us really well for the 7 hour crossing. Our only gripe would probably be the speed of service at the catering facilities but for 7 hour journey this is easy enough to remedy by bringing your own snacks etc.
"trip to Ibiza"
first time we had used this boat or this service...great trip..loved the upper outside party deck with artificial grass!!..Comfy seats..liked the luggage storage on the car deck as well, great idea. Will certainly use again...
"Med crossing from Ibiza to Mallorca"
My son and I took the 17.00hrs ferry to Mallorca last Saturday and were not looking forward to the long journey. However we found the deck at the rear of the ship offering sunbeds and seats, a bar which had music playing - made the journey and whole experience really enjoyable! The staff were very helpful, toilets were clean in fact the whole ship was great and I would highly recommend it!
"the crossing"
very good had a great time good service
"Generally good."
Generally good, though on the slow and expensive side.
"A nice crossing"
It was a very pleasant evening, lukewarm and a nice seabreeze while we were waiting to board the ferry. The boarding was fast and easy. We checked out the cabin and then went to the restaurant to get some dinner. We were among the first guests so we didn't have to queue at all. The food, 3 chicken drumsticks, salad and potatoes was very good. I bought a small bottle of red wine which made it even better. The night in the cabin was ok but it was hot when 3 people shared. We solved it by opening the cabin door and secure it with one of our luggages. The alighting in the morning was easy and simple. Thank you for a nice trip.
"Great trip"
Booked this ferry having been let down by a rival company who cancelled at 24 hours notice. Smooth loading, clean cabin, excellent food. Will certainly travel this company and route again.
"Palma Cruise !"
We both had a most comfortable crossing in both directions. We took advantage of having a cabin for both trips. The cabins were clean and comfortable, and we were very surprised as to the quality and choice of the lunch time menu....well done.
"Barcelona to Mahon overnight"
The overnight ferry crossing was fine, the accommodation was small but adequate and it was very nice to be able to have a shower. The only issue was the temperature, the cabin was very hot, a little bit of air conditioning would have made a huge difference.
"Palma To Barcelona"
The back up from your staff was first class. My wife had unfortunately become disabled through a hip operation whilst visiting Mallorca.the service and quality of all your facilities was excellent. We enjoyed a smooth crossing and arrived in Barcelona as promised on time. Big Than You. John and Patricia Butters.
"Barcellona-Palma and return"
no one from the staff helped us to find our cabin. Rude staff. No towels in our toilet. Good restaurant and bar
"Cheap & practical"
I took the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Ibiza. This was ideal, as it meant travelling during the night, rather than wasting time during the day, and saved on hotel cost for a night. The ship was fine. I didnt use any facilities, or eat any food, so I cant comment on that. But it was clean, the chairs reclined a bit (although quite a few were broken and either stuck upright or in the reclining position). But the ship wasnt full, so I just took a set of two chairs (one upright, and one reclining), and tried to make myself as comfortable as possibly. It basically like sleeping on a plane, I dozed a bit, but woke up regularly. I recommend it as a cheap practical way to get to the island, but dont expect anything fancy.
"Why passengers from Barcelona are asked for a passport???"
A comfortable journey with polite people. What we don't understand is why passport numbers are required, without any other choice to buy the tickets on line for spanish people???
