This Car Ferry is very large, with capacity of 1,461 passengers and 168 vehicles. Tokiwa Maru navigates between Niigata Port and Ryotsu port daily. From 3rd to 5th floor of this luxury ferry is for passenger compartments, with cabins, event plaza, observation lounge, pet corner, kids room and nursing room. 1st and 2nd decks are designated for vehicle storage. The passenger cabins vary in type, second class with carpeted floor, first class with choice of carpeted floor space, chairs and convenient chairs, Special Room, and Suite Room.
