The middle size car ferry with capacity of 584 passengers and 150 vehicles. Kogane Maru navigates between Naoetsu Port and Ogi port daily except winter season. From 3rd to 5th floor of this ship is for passenger compartments, with cabins, observation lounge, pet corner, and photography spot. 1st and 2nd decks are designated for vehicle storage. The passenger cabins vary in type, second class with carpeted floor, first class with carpeted floor, first class with dog room, and Special Room.
