This Car Ferry is very large, with capacity of 1,587 passengers and 290 vehicles. Okesa Maru navigates between Niigata Port and Ryotsu port daily. From 3rd to 6th floor of this luxury ferry is for passenger compartments, with cabins, event plaza, pet corner and nursing room. 1st and 2nd decks are designated for vehicle storage. The passenger cabins vary in type, second class with carpeted floor space, first class with choice of carpeted floor space, chairs and convenient chairs, Special Room and Suite Room.
