"Batman boat"
We booked this for our young son to enjoy something unusual. The boat was good but for families with young children there was limited if any help/priority with getting to and from the car decks; this would have been nice. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
"What title?"
I can understand people sleeping in the corridors of the ship but not dogs doing a pee everywhere where possible - honestly everywhere . Discusting !
"Viaggio da Genova a Porto Torres su Nuraghe"
Abbiamo viaggiato in cabina, nave molto pulita, personale gentile, noi eravamo in due ci hanno assegnato una cabina a quattro posti. Prezzo molto scontato. Lo consiglio.
"Annoying "
Over one and a half hours late during that time no explanation given very poor I throughly those days were over, you have a duty to keep your customer informed we do have other commitments you Failed miserably, on what Would have been a pleasant trip
"Cabin next to the engine"
We were unfortunate to be (not) sleeping in a cabin next to the engines. Noise was very loud which made it impossible to sleep. Frederic
"Good - Better - ugly"
Loading organized, accommodation good, food better than some other ships, ugly, they got us out of the cabins and then let us all sit over the boat for 2.5 hours while it turned out they unloaded the trucks, lot of crying baby's, barking dogs and sweating people, real ugly
"Some Details could be better "
U offer Birra de la Espina and serve it in plastic!!!! On deck it would good to have some places to sit done. It would be good, that the à la carte Restaurant would open at 7pm and not at 7:30pm
"Genoa to Porto Torres Round Trip"
This was our second trip to Sardinia with Tirrenia, and we enjoyed it as much as we did we did the first time. The Check-in, Security Clearance and Boarding processes are fairly straightforward, and like an airpot require some patience as it takes some time to load hundreds of cars and passengers onto a ship. Once onboard, the Officers and Crew are VERY Courteous and helpful, and speak enough English to offer assistance. We always book a cabin so we can sleep on the 12 hour journey and have a private toilet and shower. The cabins are quiet, roomy, clean, well-equipped with towels and linens and the bunks offer a comfortable night's sleep. Many passengers book a reclining sleeper seat, or set up camp on the deck. The self-service cafeteria offers good food, although a bit pricey, and has a number of window tables from which to enjoy the view. A Real Treat is the morning Breakfast Bar, at which you can order Delicious Italian Coffee, Croissants, and Fresh-Squeezed Orange Juice. There is a children's playroom, card room, bar, big screen Italian TV. Internet is slow, we bring books or our own movies to watch. In general, the ship is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. It normally leaves and arrives close to on-time, but the debarkation process is time-consuming and often takes close to an hour after arrival, depending on which deck you are parked on.
"Great "
Transport food but easy and friendly and comfortable
"Porto Torres by sea"
Although the access to checking in was not so glamorous (through a shopping centre at Genoa), the ship was great and a fun trip. We booked an outside cabin which was all that was needed and although the bedside light didn’t work, everything else was fine. Food in the self-catering restaurant was good and staff were helpful in all regards. Ship has a bit of faded glamour about, but it is an excellent way to arrive anywhere. Would recommend it. Crossing was a bit blowy at times, but not a problem if you’re an OK sea traveller.
"Genoa to Porto Torres - Terrenia Ferries"
Outbound checkin and boarding very straightforward. Return trip not so! After entering the port, and queuing to board, we were told that our booking confirmation was not a ticket, and several of us had to leave the port and drive to the Maritime Station, in Porto Torres, queue and get a bar coded ticket issued. We wish we had know this in advance. Booking direct with Terrenia apparently gets you this document via email. Cabins both ways were clean and acceptable.
"Great overnight from Genova to Porto Torres"
This was our first trip on a car ferry and we were a bit concerned as we walked through the car parking area and then up to the passenger reception. Once we entered the doorway to reception all our concerns vanished. This was a very nicely appointed ship and had all the necessary facilities and crew. We had an inside cabin that would sleep four easily and had plenty of space as we were only two. There was a private bath with shower which was very nice for cleaning up in the morning. We had no problems sleeping and found the bar/ lounge to have very nice snacks and drinks. All in all a very good trip even if our cabin door was a bit sticky and required a bit of shoving to open from the hallway.
"Very good trip Genoa -> Porto Torres"
I used the ferry for a 5 day trip to Sardinia travelling by motorbike. Booking with Direct Ferries was easy and a change I made to accommodation worked fine. Direct Ferries give you vouchers that must be exchanged for the tickets at the office in Genoa - this is located on the 1st floor of the Ferry Terminal Shopping Centre. Luckily being on a bike I could just park it on the pavement and nip in - it is a very congested area so not sure how that would work with a car. I headed down to embarkation about 3 hours before the ferry left just to get out of the mayhem of Genoa. All worked well, I was given a voucher for my cabin and joined the queue. Good thing in Genoa is that you could walk through to the shopping centre after joining the queue and parking up. Boarding was quick and easy, cabin key was collected from reception and luckily I was given a 4 berth cabin. It was clean and functional, shower worked well, no complaints at all. Snack bar had various sandwiches and pastries or you could get a full meal in the restaurant - I didn't bother. After 11 hours of riding that day I was in my cabin at 9pm and slept through. Ship arrived on time and unloading was stress free. All in all an excellent trip.
"Great time"
The ship is a bit dated but it actually is a good thing - for 12 hours or so we got transported to a that great tine way back when everyone travelled by car and this ferry ride was a pinnacle of the experience. Quite luxurious, even if if dated (which, again, is a great experience)
"Slept well"
We were happy with our cabin. Slept well and arrived well-rested in Sardinia. On the return trip, we travelled with Moby. Apparently they no more cabins available. Tried to sleep in a chair, very uncomfortable. I'll never do that again.
"a wonderful surprise"
A wonderful surprice, a big breakthrough. The only negative thing is the prece of the ticket, too high for residents. Thank you for all yor commitment and thanks to all the staff.
"Kindness and professionality of the staff on board"
The 19/08 I travelled from Genoa to Porto Torres, and I forgot my mobile phone in the cabin. The staff contacted me telling me that I could ask for it at the reception during my return journey. I really need to thank all the staff for the kindness, the service and the onesty.
"Journey Genova Porto Torres and riturn"
I travelled a lot to go to Sardinia, and usaully with Tirrenia since 1964!! Services are really improved, but still there is a problem with people bringing dogs in the cabins! You should control more on board becouse is about hygiene!
"good, but not everything!"
I went on holiday with my family, and we booke the reserved seats, I can say that in conclusion the journey went well. There was a bit of rough sea. I did not like the staff on board serving at the coffee shop, they all were very rude, I never heard the words "Hello" or "Thank" this is not a good thing for the immagine of the company. For all the rest I cannot complain.
"Tirrenia"
Too mani dogs, they get dirty everywere. Waiters too slow setting tables, excellent and fast food. Clean cabin.
"Porto Torres Genoa"
Enjoyabla trip and excellent organization of boarding landing procedure.
"Nuraghes ship"
We travelled from Genoa to Porto Torres, clean ship, friendly crew (almost everyone). Really slow landing.
"Ticket realese"
Tickets should not be printed at Porto Torres, because the port office there are really far away from the wharf, so you need to have enough time to print them. Fortunatly, in my case, there were no queue.
"Tirrenia Improved"
Compliments to Tirrenia, services really improved. I cannot rate the restaurant because I did not eat. Cleaning can be improved
"A beautiful trip"
The only flaw is that the ticket price was very high, even if i'm originally from Sardinia. Only residents can get a discount.
"Perfect trip!!"
We travelled from Genoa to Porto Torres and return with 2 children (3 and 6 years old), on a night crossing, in a first class cabin. Everything was perfect, from the boarding operations to the accommodation. The cabin was very clean, with sheets and hand towels. We booked in advance and we got an excellent price. I think the restaurant prices are a bit expensive.
"Sardinia"
excellent
"All good"
Really comfortable ferry, clean and with good services
"Genova-Porto Torres June2015"
Adequate service.
"cabin "
I've got a beautiful cabin close to the stairs
"Overall good and punctual"
No waiting, service, quality and staff skills were comform to the type of trasport. (Ferry).
"Route Civitavecchia-Olbia "
We travelled with Tirrenia, route Civitavecchia- Olbia and return, and we had a nice experience. The ferry was clean and the service excellent, 100% better than years ago. The only issue was the air conditioned, it was too high in the receptionion and playground. Also one of the person in the reception was really rude with some customers. I hope they'll treat us better next time.
"Nice well orhanised crossing"
Check in @ Olbia was very easy, (nice pizza upstairs in terminal!) was allowed on the ferry nearly 2 hours early so could go into cabin etc. Crossing & transfers (incl to train station on arrival) all excellent. Cabin v clean and surprisingly roomy!
"with Tirrenia from Civitavecchia to Olbia and return"
