"Journey Stockholm - Helsinki - Stockholm from June 27th. and return on July 28.th"
According to our booking and successive confirmation by Directferries the return trip was due on July 28, but as we checked at the Silja Line/Tallink counter it has been booked for June 28! Therefore we had to buy a new ticket for the requested date. We have sent an email (16.7.2019, 10.48 time of Finland) to Directferries requesting an explanation about the mishap but never received an answer so far. We consider this behavior as very unkind and unprofessional from the part of Directferries and will never book again a trip through their site. Also we will suggest through facebook and other social media to never make use of this site for their future trips
"Fun new experience "
This was the longest boat trip on the biggest ship we have ever taken so were not sure what to expect. Booking was easy online from the UK, check in was quick and we were welcomed aboard and directed to our cabin. We did not book evening meal, but there were several other restaurants and cafes to choose from. The buffet breakfast which we did book was great - loads of choice, plenty of food and tea/coffee brought to the table. Our cabin (cheapest option) was below the car decks, so when the boat stopped briefly mid-cruise we heard the engines, but it was comfortable, clean, temperate and well-provisioned (sockets, lamps, towels, hairdryer, shower gel). We did not feel any rocking of the ship. Beds were comfy and the shower excellent. There were many lifts all in good working order. Inside seating areas were a bit limited unless you were in a bar or restaurant. There was a play area on the deck also with games for older children & even a spa bar with jacuzzis (at extra cost) . If you take your dog there is a toilet area for them on deck. Even though the ship was pretty full, it was never too crowded in any area. There are duty free shops on board. We were impressed!
"Really good traveling with you"
Excellent service, professional friendly personal, comfortable restaurant, bar and bed. Beautiful spa service. Very nice view and really quiet traveling. The best bent music.
"Nice "
Was nice. Drain blocked in 2054 so when had a shower it went into the bathroom floor. But not to big of a deal I still had a shower.
"An enjoyable "mini-cruise""
We enjoyed a return trip Helsinki-Stockholm on the Silja Symphony. Our 2-berth cabin was comfortable and very clean. The choice of bars, cafes and restaurants was good. We had well-prepared and good quality dinners in The Happy Lobster and in Mondo and the wine choices were good. Overall the crossing in each direction was very good, thank you to the crew.
"Ferry trip Helsinki to Stockholm "
Travel arrangements were easy before hand and the Olympia ferry terminal in Helsinki is convenient. The ship was enormous much larger than expected -a cruise ship. This was an unpleasant surprise for UK travellers expecting a traditional ferry. We found the excessively commercial nature of the ship and it’s huge size distasteful. However the cabin was clean and comfortable. The ship was timely. The ferry terminal in Stockholm is some miles out of the city and it is a bit of a slog to the metro with cases. The arrival time of 9.30 am means that those waiting to get into Stockholm accommodation have a weary time with their luggage in the city centre. The views from the ship were good ,I would not travel on this type of ship again. To be fair I believe that the other ferry lines doing this crossing have similar ships.
" Broken glass in bed!"
Our trip was OK except my daughter woke up bleeding from her back and arm as there were some pieces of broken glass in her freshly made bunk bed.
"One of the best ferries "
Serenade and Galaxy are highly recommended
"We loved it"
My wife and I enjoyed the cruise.Perfect
"Great, comfortable ride"
I was travelling solo and had a lovely comfortable cabin to myself. Everything was great apart from the WiFi - only available in the shopping/restaurant part of the ship and even there it didn't work well at all.
"Very pleasant voyage"
Picturesque crossing and good cabin even though in the hold!!
"Great way to travel from Stockholm to Helsinki"
The trip was seamless, from gathering my ticket in the entrance hall to finding my cabin and deboarding the ship. It was a great way to relax as well. I enjoyed this spa (you can rent a bathing suit for 4 euro) and the restaurant options. My cabin was clean and comfortable. There were lots of options for entertainment, though mine only included a glass of wine and a book. I would definitely recommend this travel option from Stockholm to Helsinki.
"nice way to travel abroad"
This ship was a nice way to get to Stockholm. It was more relaxing than flying, with all the things you can do on the ship. The shows are professional, there is not a dull moment. The rooms are small but convinient.
"Below the car decks"
'Symphony' is a massive ship - big promenade deck with shops, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Good for families and shoppers. We ate at the Grand Buffet - quite pricey, but loads of food choice and wine, beer, hot and cold drinks are included. We started about an hour after the buffet opened, so felt a bit rushed, but that was our fault - we'll know if we do it again. On this ferry trip our cabin was below the car decks - very cheap option, but cramped and noisy with lots of movement, so very little sleep. We later travelled from Stockholm to Tallinn with Silja line and our cabin experience on one of the higher decks was much better although considerably more expensive. The lower deck cabins may be ok if you're looking for a cheap option and are prepared for no sleep.
"A Voyage to discovery"
We you enter deck 7, you are quickly amazed at what you see, mulling around on just over 700' and happy shoppers, happy eaters, and more important happy CHILDREN. The sailing certainly caterers for all sorts of people young and old. Plenty places to have a drink and a meal but I feel the GRAND BUFFET downstairs is a bit pricey, but GREAT for breakfast. Please choose your cabin carefully as a window (porthole) is a MUST. Let me repeat it MUST have a window, got that, Great! Relax and unwind, did I mention the fantastic scenery and both ends. Passing by the fortress in Helsinki (you can almost touch the battlements) are amazing; so come on board and enjoy a treat for all you senses.
"Great trip"
Everything was great...such as foods rooms good service and very comfortable. Highly recommended!!

"Worth to travel by ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki"
Once in a lifetime to travel with a very good qualified ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. Let's sail. It was a wonderful time to enjoy every moment on this ferry. Let's join!
"i don't like your change of price on internet"
On internet i find one price but when i pay the price change, i don't like this.
"Great staff! Clean beds! Great facilities!"
Nice staff. Good free WiFi. Good entertainment and music!! Well worth it!! AAAAA+++++
"Good Trip"
Very good transportation from Helsinki to Stockholm. Relax, comfortable and good price. So enjoy shopping on the ship.
"Good value, decent cabin."
Booked a cheap crossing between Stockholm and Helsinki and down on level two but really nice cabin, bunks for two, comfortable and roomy. En-suite shower room and toilet. Small sitting area. Great deals in the duty free shops and very enjoyable free show. Nice cocktails in the bar with great views.
"Going home"
After the holidays we had to go home again. We chose to go by car so a crossing on a ferryboat was inevitable. We boarded in Helsinki on the Silja Symphony. A huge boat. Because the crossing took 17 hours we hooked a cabin to sleep as well. Although below the cardeck the noise was not to bad. The Beds were great and a privat bathroom made it even better. I can recommend this to anyone.
"Overnight from Helsinki to Stockholm"
Larger cabin than we expected, comfortable beds, decent sized shower. Food was excellent - we will definitely do this again!
"worked great for us"
For a family of six with small children, the ferry was a great fit. Buffet prices were very high, but the duty-free store was very reasonable. We got by on snacks because we had dinner before departure from Helsinki. The experience, overall, was great for us. The family cabin, with foldout sofa and fold down bunks worked great. The kids enjoyed the onboard entertainment and a stroll around the top deck. I would recommend the ferry to anyone making a trip around the Baltic instead of a cruise liner experience.
"Great trip"
I sailed from Stockholm to Helsinki last week. We were very lucky with the weather which was hot and sunny. Our cabin was small for 3 but the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and plentiful. We opted for the buffet dinner which was amazing- so much choice and with wine included, really good value. The shops on board were cheaper than shore prices so stock up while on board. Highly recommended.
"A great trip!"
We were pleasantly surprised by the range of facilities and level of comfort, especially compared with our last trip several years ago. We would recommend the ship to anyone.
