It’s actually amazing, didn’t expect such a big boat with live shows, a casino, restaurants and shops inside, it was a great experience.
"New Experience "
The journey was very nice. We travelled with car & with booked cabin. everything looking very organized and planed. Team who is helping for car parking in ship & exiting from ship is doing excellent job. This trip had with family (5 Years kid) . My kid supper…… happy about his time in ship. Kids have play area & multiple activities to do in the ship they will feel need more time to spend in ship. Overall, me & my family so happy with this journey. Requests Try to make more food options & accept all type of liquid cash as per the countries the ship transport is planned. They only allowing the Euros even when we are traveling from Sweden to Finland not accepting the Swedish currency. Excepting some sky deck cabin to enjoy the front view of ship as we have for back.
"Best cruise"
The Silja line Baltic Princess has an excellent ambience, very nice staff, very clean. But i wild recommend that they clean the toilets much more, it was filthy. Other than everything was neat and tidy.

"Superb experience"
Cabin was very nice, functional and quiet. Loading and disembarking very efficient. This ship is like a luxury cruiser for the price of a bus ticket.
"Smooth & cool!"
An excellent overall experience! The car check-in was a bit too long (waiting in a queue), but then went quite smoothly. Boarding and stay was great! In general, food, drinks and shopping was far too expensive (even when duty free) - if this was made more affordable, I guess everyone will then drink and dine on board. Cabin and the ferry itself was very nice. De-boarding was genuinely smooth.
"Sailing"
One of the best ships we have been with spectacular scenery. Highly recommended.
"Blissful"
Fantastic trip - magical sailing through the Turku Archipelago as the sun set and we ate delicious food in The Happy Lobster. Great cabin with comfortable double bed (we were travelling premium class). Premium class really worth it for the nice cabin and the incredible breakfast - I have NEVER had such a good breakfast!!
"one day to Stockholm "
Was nice and especially cheap travel with Tallink Silja!
"Feedback "
When we arrived in our cabin the area was still being cleaned. Staff very busy and not friendly. The food in the Fast Lane was good and reasonably priced. Cabin was very good and Journey was comfortable.
"A very pleasant journey "
We travelled on the Baltic Princess as part of a Scandinavian holiday. On arriving at the ferry terminal in Stockholm early in the morning we were disappointed to find the cafe closed as we were hoping for a coffee and a bite to eat whilst we waited to board. In general we were very happy with the voyage. We sat out on deck for much of the journey watching the archipelago islands glide by. We had lunch in the grande buffet which, as with most buffets, is reasonably good value if you have a large appetite. There was a wide range of food available of a satisfactory quality. Frustratingly we found that many of the ship’s restaurants are closed from 12-2 so we had lunch a little later than we would have liked. Our only other complaint is that the ship’s bar would not refill our water bottles. Where we live in the UK many businesses will happily do this in recognition of the fact that we need to discourage the use of reusable plastics. It would be nice to see the ferry company showing the same environmental concern. Overall, the ship was clean and well organised and the staff were friendly. We would happily travel with this ferry company again.
"Stockholm - Turku"
Well, this was far more than i expected, at such a great price, and a great way to get across from Stockholm to Turku or Helsinki. £20 i paid and was able to watch the on board entertainment, eat the great food from the restaurant (not inc). But definately a 5 star way of getting across. Loved the journey !
"Take this trip!"
Amorella is a very elegant ship. The dinner is first rate with attentive and fast service in the restaurant. Room is fine. Just take a shower before bed as the boat gets in early and turns around to go back within an hour.
"Awesome choice! "
I thought it was a simple (and boring) ferry at first and was surprised by catching myself in the middle of a cruise ship. So many fun things to do! I would definitely recommend it over and over to anyone. Thank you Direct Ferries, I had a great experience!
"Summer view"
We had an easy journey to Finland and back to Sweden...We took our car and everything went smoothly..excellent service and organization.
"Stockholm to Turku 9 Apr"
Great trip, but could would be god to have smokers confined to certain areas. As a non-smoker, going onto the deck for fresh air and the views was often marred by smokers pollution. Otherwise, all good, an enjoyable trip, with good catering.
"Traveling by cruise "
Every thing was perfect
"Work trip"
Nice calm trip
"A civilised way to travel"
Good food, plenty to drink and great scenery along the way, what's not to like!
"Turku-Stockholm Trip"
We slept overnight and it was nearly impossible due to the loud music below us. Hence there were a lot of vibrations from the ship itself but that was pretty manageable for me. What my friend and I can really complain about is the hard bed. The one in our van we travelled with is much softer :) So in conclusion, I would welcome a little bit softer beds than the one we had to sleep on.
"Warning Economy Class Travel - Noise "
All E-Class Cabins are over the Nightclub / Disco. I did not realise this when I booked. I am a seasoned traveler and used to noise, so I go packed with ear plugs. WOW, these cabins are directly above the speakers. Not only is the music very very very loud you also feel the thumping base come up through the floor and through the bed. Luckily I was able to change cabins at the cost of Euro 10. The staff were polite and explained that the web site does say there can be noise heard in these cabins. Checking the Silja Line web site it says : "E-CLASS Due to cabin location you may experience some noise." There is no "may" about it, the noise is there every night and intolerable. Otherwise, very nice cabins and very good services on the ship. The restaurants serve excellent food, I was very impressed, although they can be busy. A good service to travel on, just don't book E-Class.
"Kids loved it"
This was the homeward leg of our journey. On the outbound trip we had a 4 berth outside cabin, this time we had the inside cabin which lacks an outside window. That was a bit of a disappointment to the kids, it's nice to sit in the cabin before bedtime and see the archipelago drift by but it was not a big issue. Bunk beds in the 4 berth cabin were fine for all of us (I'm 1m96). We didn't book dinner on either trip, there were no window seats left at the buffet (and no space at all on the outbound trip) but we were able to get a table at the Grill House from which we could see the sea. Their salad buffet is a much better deal than the big buffet in my opinion - you don't really need 100 options - and there was a children's buffet with pasta, fries and pancakes as well. On the outbound leg we dined at the Italian restaurant, which was very good. We would do the same again. Kids (5 & 3) loved the play corner. Not much need for the rest of the entertainment.
"Turku-Stockholm"
It was a smooth trip with nice entertainment! Nothing to complain!
"Nice trip"
Pleasant journey both ways, I can recommend the Happy Lobster for a great meal.
"An extended holiday"
We booked the Baltic Princess to complete our visit to a few Baltic cities, we did not appreciate how popular these sailings were and managed to book the last available cabin. The Silja staff in Turku could not have been more helpful with booking the extras needed for instance the buffet meal and use of lockers at the port. The sailing was on time and as soon as the passengers were aboard, the ship left, cabins were found and the restaurants opened. What a meal! Small portions of every course were the order of the day so that every dish was tasted. Every dish was first class. Then the piano bar where we struck a conversation with a Finish couple before retiring to the cabin in anticipation of an early morning wake up call. A real treat at a very affordable price.
"simply unforgettable "
Good value of money for foot passengers, and really didnt expect to be such a large ship!
"Great experience"
Not knowing what you can expect the trip from Turku to Stockholm was like a luxe honeymoon of one night.
"Great trips"
Every thing was fine, the food, the cabin and the service
"Clean and beautiful"
I have no complaints, really. I liked the way kids were welcomed on board the ship with a Moomin figure saying hello :-) There was a wide variety of catering, bars and restaurants as well as something to choose from for kids. It was easy to step outside the ship and watch Finland disappear, and the windows are clean (easy to watch from inside). I took ferry to Finland by another company and this was way superior. The internet access is better, the TVs screens are bigger, the variety of shops, entertainment and bars much wider, the ferry was cleaner and the staff friendlier.
"Wonderful trip"
Checking in goes very smoothly, with much professionalism. The ship looks neat and clean. The cabin was not large, but it was just for us 3 adults and two large dogs which was fine. The shopping arcade and restaurants are nice with spacious layout and look very well taken care of. All in all, a good experience. Highly recommended. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
"Good prize with suitable timetable"
