"Ferry Naxos to Mykonos "
We arrived in plenty of time s a previous ferry we had booked had been cancelled without notice. This one was too without notification. However we were given tickets for an earlier ferry The ferry was very enjoyable as we wee able to sit outside and enjoy the view better. As with other ferry it was a bit chaotic getting on and off The luggage is left as you get on and you literally have to just abandon it! It appears that this is usual though
"Horrendous communication "
We received a text informing us that our ferry was intact going to be ran by another company... I thought, ok great!!!! Only to find out that when we got there, our ferry had actually been cancelled and not replaced at all!!!! So horrendous communication from direct ferries. The people who worked at the ferry ports however, were really helpful and did everything in their power to ensure we got to ios and without any extra charge. We then had to endure a horrendous journey of 2 ferries (3hoours and then 3 and a half hours with a 2 hour wait) with 3 children which resulted in us not getting to our hotel until 3am instead of the 5:30pm as planned. Had we had better communication from direct ferries, we would have been able to make other arrangements to maybe stay in Mykonos for the night and inform our hotel in ios. Not impressed at all. I shan’t be booking with this company again.
"Ferry crossing Kos to Santorini "
Although the departure was delayed the vessel itself and the actual crossing was an absolute pleasure. The only negative was that there was no where to store our luggage at the terminal in Kos during the day. We arrived on Kos (from Bodrum) at 9am and left at 8pm and were stuck with our luggage for the entire time on Kos.
"Quick "
Great journey comfortable and quick
"Golden star !"
Santorin- Mykonos
"Delayed and chaotic"
Pre boarding arrangements at Santorini do not seem well organized. Masses of people and vehicles with inadequate space. No obvious information displays to inform awaiting passengers of delays and expected departure and arrival times. When boat arrived, disembarkation and embarkation seemed chaotic, hurried but time consuming, partly because the boarding ramps started with a step that prevented easy roll on of wheeled luggage. Luggage storage provision appeared to be random and inadequate Although boarding passes indicated seat numbers, actual seating appeared to be random. Access aisles across the boat seemed narrow. Departure and arrival were about 40 minute delayed On a more positive note, journey was comfortable
"Brilliant "
Great way to travel to see other islands you’re not visiting; felt almost like a cruise! The e-tickets also worked very well, saving us carrying papers whilst we were traveling.
"Was cancelled "
Our ship was cancelled from Naxos to Mykonos yet no one told us so whilst at the port we had to find the ticket desk and sort out an alternative. We got offered a later ship with the same tickets however it was also delayed meaning we arrived a lot later than supposed to
"Mykonos to Naxos ferry"
The sailing was enjoyable but the ferry was 1 hour late leaving port which adversely affected our destination arrangements. I paid for an SMS notification to inform me of any timetable changes but the one sent did not state the ferry would leave later and there was no communication at Mykonos port with reasons for the delay.
"Naxos to Mykonos, homeward bound"
Or original ferry was cancelled some weeks before we had to rebook this one. Unfortunately it was running late, and waiting in the heat wasn't fun. Storing luggage was a bit of a bun fight and seat allocation is non existent but not worth worrying about. Turn around are usually very well run and quick.
"40 minutes late"
The ferry was 40 minutes late but we had no information at the port.
"Two hours late"
And had to sit in a nice bar just across from the ferry entrance and drink beer.
"Thanks"
Excelent service!
"Poor communication. 2 hours late. Fast ferry in the end."
As per the title. Our ferry was cancelled at the last minute. No explanation and initially no indication of the delay. Left 2 hours late. Once on the ferry fine. Ibdont think this is an unheard of occurrence so certainly factor this in. P.s. leave 1.5 hours to get to Santorini port, despite the short distance traffic can be terrible.
