The tickets were excellent value; I had paid a small premium to book seats, which ensured a relaxed journey. The procedures for embarking and disembarking were very well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The ship, including the lavatories, were spotlessly clean. The ferry timetable was excellent for our travel needs, despite being at the end of the holiday season.I would have no hesitation in recommending Blue Star Ferry services.

  • "Lovely boat, need ticketing improvement"

    Lovely modern boat from Naxos to Mykonos, airconditioned, comfortable, spotless. Baggage storage a bit of a free for all but it worked. Only gripe is that tickets are not emailed, only the confirmation. So arrive Naxos port to find a (small) bit of paper saying you need to walk 300m to a ticketing shop, pay 1 Euro to get your ticket printed, and walk back. This seems unnecessary grit (especially as you have luggage with you) - why not just email a printable ticket, or a mobile one?
