Skopelos is the perfect destination for an authentic Greek getaway. You can easily explore the capital town of Chora on foot. If you want to explore the island fully though, especially those harder to reach areas, we’d recommend renting a scooter, quad or a car. The island also has buses connecting Chora with popular beaches and other villages such as Glossa. Bear in mind that buses can be infrequent, especially out of season. Taxis are also available on the island, although they can be very expensive.
