Ibiza San Antonio Valencia Ferry reviews

  • "A great deal."

Got a fantastic deal with direct ferries. I was half expecting to pay more when I arrived, as I saw on line some customers seemed to have issues, but it was the real deal. All went great.  The boat itself was fine too, just a bit stinky outside from smokers, it seems to find its way to us, so we stayed inside, Inside was fine. Happily I marked the location when we disembarked in Palma, otherwise finding the Balearia port to leave is tricky as it is further down than the others & very poorly signposted. The link address was not the right port.

  • "Wrong Port"

I looked up the ferry routes listed on the Balearia website to confirm which port this shit would drop me off at and still ended up at the wrong port. This is the second time i have looked up a route and been dropped off at the wrong port.

Ibiza San Antonio Guide

Located on the western coast of the Spanish island of Ibiza, San Antonio is the second largest town on this Balearic Island and has gained a popular following over the last few decades for its music and club scene. Time Out declared San Antonio the "clubbing capital of the universe". The town's West End area is where most of the bars are and is also where PR staff line the streets trying to entice visitors into the many bars. More bars and clubs can be found at Sunset Strip, just along the coast from San Antonio. It is here where the world famous Cafe del Mar can be found and is where many clubbers congregate to watch the sun set.

Moving away from the town's music scene, a popular attraction in the town is The Egg which was erected in the 1990's to commemorate the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. The statue is in the shape of an egg, containing at its centre a model of his ship; the Santa Maria.

Ferries operate from the port in San Antonio to Barcelona, Denia and Valencia.

Valencia Guide

The Spanish city of Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and is characterised by its lovely architecture, both old and new. The city is known for its excellent Mediterranean climate while the region as a whole has many fine beaches and more than 500 km of coastline. The city is famous in the gastronomic world as being the home of paella and has many fine restaurants which includes a large selection of Tapas bars in the Old Quarter, around the Plaza de la Reina. Popular with visitors is the Valencia City of Arts and Science which contains four main attractions: L'Hemisferic Planetarium which as the name suggests is a planetarium but also a cinema; the Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofia which promotes the city's arts scene; the Parque Oceanografico which includes Beluga Whales, Dolphins, Penguins and a range of tropical fish; and the Museo de las Ciencias Principe Felipe which is a museum that focuses on science and interactive technology.

The Port of Valencia has regular passenger services to and from the Balearic Islands and Italy, along with a growing number of visiting cruise ships.
