Stena Line sail across the Irish Sea, connecting England, Wales and Scotland with Ireland. There are currently 4 ferry routes to choose from, with up to 29 sailings per week. Stena Line ferries to Ireland arrive in either Belfast, Dublin or Rosslare.
Ferries from Scotland to Northern Ireland depart from Cairnryan and arrive in Belfast. The Cairnryan to Belfast ferry takes around 2 hours 15 minutes, with around 6 daily sailings each way. Ferries to Belfast also depart from Liverpool. The Liverpool to Belfast ferry has a duration of 8 hours with 2 daily sailings.
If you’re travelling from Wales, you can either get a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin or Fishguard to Rosslare. The Holyhead to Dublin ferry takes about 3 hours 15 minutes. There are currently 4 daily sailings each way on this route. Meanwhile the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry route takes around 3 hours 30 minutes with 2 daily sailings.
Heading to Belfast? Stena Line ferries arrive at Victoria Terminal 4. It's located close to the motorway, just off Junction 1 of the M2. You can reach Belfast city centre in around 10-15 minutes. Or, if you're not travelling by car, you can hop on the Metro 96 bus which connects the port with Belfast city centre.
Stena Line ferries to Dublin arrive at Terminal 2. The terminal is conveniently located around 4 miles east of Dublin city centre or less than a 10 minute drive away. There is also a dedicated bus service connecting the terminal with the centre to/from every sailing. This gets you close to the bus and railway stations too.
If you're travelling to Rosslare, Stena Line ferries will take you to Rosslare Europort which is located in a small village in County Wexford. The port is at the end of the N25 in Rosslare Harbour. You can reach Wexford in around 20 minutes. Or, if you're venturing further afield, there's also a train station around a 15 minute walk from the terminal where you can get a train to Dublin.
