It is a really long way so I will suggest the cabin. Hospitality is not the best, higher prices but reasonable. Better to bring your own food. And if you have the space deck maybe you can think to use a camping tend. But it is better only to go tu Corfù, if are going farher than this go for a cabin. If the price of the cabin is too high you can always book the cabin on board and sometimes for a really resonable price. People complain about cabins thinking maybe they shoul be bigger, but if you think is like being on a cabin train, the space is limited, plus you can keep all the luggages with you. If you booked the cabin you will arrive to your destination well rested. Greece staff is not the best. Also during summer the ship is full of young people a bit annoying when they are in group they are terrible. I understand the staff because it could be difficoult work with this kind of clients but they should try harder to keep order on board. Seems to be on board an hydrofoil from Palermo to New York in the 1870. If you are on holidays for 7 days or more the ferry is a good way to travel, but for less I will not recommend it.

Bari Guide

The Italian city of Bari, located in the province of Bari, lies on the Adriatic Sea coast. The town is perhaps best known for its university and sea port. There are many visitor attractions in the city including the Basilica di San Nicola which was established in the 11th century to receive the remains of Saint Nicolas which are now located beneath the church's altar in the crypt. Also worth a visit is Bari Cathedral which was constructed between 1034 and 1178 and is dedicated to Saint Sabinus of Canosa.

Bari's port is one of the most important in the region and provides a hub for sea traffic between Italy and the Middle East and Balkan regions. The port has two harbours. The Old Port is located closest to the old city and is mainly used for small boats and fishing vessels. The modern new port offers passengers destinations including Durres, Igoumenitsa, Cephalonia, Corfu, Patras, Kotor and Dubrovnik. Crossings to Corfu take 8 hours and are only available during the summer months. Services to Igoumenitsa take 9 hours and 30 minutes and also operate during the summer. The New Port is modern and offers both short-term and long-term parking options.

Zakynthos Guide

The Greek island of Zakynthos, or Zante, is one of the most popular, and beautiful, of the Ionian islands. It lies to the south of the island of Kefalonia and is known for its crystal clear waters and very lively nightlife, which combine to make it a popular holiday destination for younger tourists. The most famous beach on the island is Navagio with its golden sand and lovely warm, blue waters. A popular excursion whilst on the island is to take a boat trip to Navagio and to the Blue Caves. Other great beaches on Zakynthos include Vassilikos, Gerakas, Spiantza and a number of others on south coast. Due to their soft sand and clean water, these beaches are used as breeding spots for the loggerhead sea turtle known as the Caretta-Caretta.

Zakynthos has two ports. The main port is located in the Zakynthos town with the other in the village of Agios Nikolaos. From the main port there is a connection to the port of Kyllini, which is the usual route for arrivals to the island by sea from the mainland. From the port of Agios Nikolaos there is a connection to the port of Pesada on the island of Kefalonia .
