In addition to seating, passengers who travel in the luxurious Stena Plus lounge can enjoy waiter service and choose from a premium menu which includes a range of speciality seafood dishes and old favourites. So you can simply relax in your seats and order meals at your leisure.
The all new quick food experience ‘TASTE’ serves a great selection of fresh and tasty meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "Holiday"
Had a fantastic trip was lovely nice furnishings so clean. The children kids and even pets have 5 star experience.
"Trip to Scotland "
Very comfortable trip, great services and staff
"Return Cairnryan/Belfast"
Very good
"Magic voyage"
Great pleasant experience totally relaxing and all staff very helpful and happy to help will use service again
"Visit to Belfast "
Many thanks to the staff on both journeys that assisted with getting a dog cage. Only negative was that I wanted to take the earlier ferry and was asked to pay £45 to do this
"Short Break"
11:30 sailing by car, easy check-in. but for the life of me I cant understand how they pull the lanes. We were one of the first cars there and in lane 4, a number of lanes departed before us, cars not hgv, then our lane eventually started two cars before us and we were stopped. From being first in line to last on board is frustrating. It means queues at dining ets by the time we were onboard. Being a european truck driver for years I sailed from all the English ports to Europe and have never wirness so much confusion. All other ports are bang, bang, bang get on board but not here they seem to cherry pick.
"Cairnryan - Belfast return"
The Ferry left on time and arrived on time for both journeys
"Stranraer- Belfast return"
Very happy- Very efficient and felt very safe
"Enjoyable trip to Ireland."
My wife and I have often travelled by ferry to Belfast from Cairnryan. We have always enjoyed the experience. Ships are comfortable and staff friendly.
"Thoughtful staff"
My son who has autism was very disappointed when our ferry wasn't the large one with the play area and had melt down before we had even set off. Staff member heard how distressed he was and very kindly offered the use of a cabin. This enabled me to calm him and distract him through the journey. Thank you.
"We are sailing "
Will definitely be using stena line again as I have never felt so relaxed going on holiday before, from the time you get on the ship you are looked after as nothing is a problem to the crew and also the hygge lounge is a must with the comfy chairs to relax in. I would certainly recommend it .
"Trip to Belfast "
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish
"Sailing to and from Belfast"
The sailing on the way to Belfast was very busy as the ship was changed and not the one we were supposed on it was a good sailing but not enough seating for everyone the food was not the best. The ship on the way back was the Stena Superfast and we had booked the lounge this ship was very clean has adequate seating and enjoyed the return journey
"A little let down"
We have always enjoyed the experience of travelling on the Stella line boat. This time it did not live up to out expectations on our return journey from Belfast. The ship had no facilities and the shop was only open for 30 minutes and the food choice was very poor and not suitable for kids s. It felt like we had went back in time with what was on offer. I hope that you can pick up on this and improve on future journeys.
"Excellent Ferry Crossing"
Punctuality, facilities, and staff friendliness and helpfulness all excellent. The ferry was very comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout.
"Very happy "
Great service
"Great experience, except for..."
We travelled with our daughter who is in a wheelchair and we found the whole experience so easy, simple and accessible. My only feedback would be to see appropriate changing facilities with large bed and hoist, whether this was in the port or on the ferry as we did sadly have to change her on a toilet floor 😭
"First time Stenaline Traveller"
First time travelling by Stenaline and taking the car over to Scotland and it was all stress free. Staff were lovely, very organised, no chance of not knowing where to go. Went with Premium Plus lounge and again would highly recommend.
"Great"
Great service
"Disappointing service at Cairnryan port."
I'd paid premium €456.99 and was directed to row 9! Last car off! Very disappointing service.
"Disability issues"
We were first at the ferry port but the very last lane to board. My wife has disability problems but we were not told we would have to walk up the stairs until we found the first lift. There were no children on board however the cinema played cartoon film. Going back to the car was a nightmare as we went down in the lift only to find we had to climb back up a flight of stairs swap dudes and go back down another flight of stairs. When w booked we did not see anywhere for assistance for disability
"Trip on stena line"
Was a bit choppy on the crossing . However, was quite relaxed as staff went about , professionally.
"Easy crossing"
Super easy to find, board, and disembark. Good, reasonably priced food. Very friendly staff.
"A very pleasant trip from Belfast to Cairnryan "
It was a very smooth trip. Our seats were nice and comfy. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful.
"Expensive "
Nice boat but the cost of the crossing is just too expensive
"Great service"
I had a great journey from cairnryan to Belfast on the first ferry of the day, then from Belfast to cairnryan later the same day. I paid a little bit extra for the hygge lounge which was so comfy and highly recommend. I do this trip every 6 months for work and am looking forward to my next journey with sterna which I will book via directvferries.
"Business trip"
Fast and efficient service for boarding the ferry. Once on board, we took up the Stena Line plus lounge which was well worth the extra money. Plenty of different seats to choose from, hot and cold drinks, and snacks available throughout the journey. The bar menu wasn't part of the package, what I chose was a little disappointing for the money. All in all, excellent service.
"Fantastic Trip"
This has to be one of the best, most relaxed trip we have been on. I don't travel too good but this was so easy and relaxing I will be using it again in the future without hesitation. We also turned up early for our ferry and the staff done what they could to help and avoid us having to wait they got us on the earlier ferry, once on board the lounges are all very clean and seating comfy. If you are looking to travel to Ireland or from Ireland to the UK don't hesitate book yourself on Stena Line Ferries.
"Another great crossing"
Very smooth crossing lovely helpful knowledgeable staff as always
"Northern Irish Trip"
Enjoyable trip and would definitely recommend
"Terrible "
There was a mix up with boat dates and staff refused to help left me and my family 2 children 6 and 8 months sleep in a car and told us I was to do with directferries as they sold us the ticket do not use as you have no way of contacting this company if there’s a problem with your ticket over all terrible company
"Ireland here we come "
Very good crossing
"Trouble free service"
The trip from Cairnryan was on time and the crossing went so well that we arrived in Belfast 15 minutes early. The trip back was on time but unfortunately, we had to turn back due to a crew member falling ill ( hope he or she) is OK now. Obviously, the return journey was delayed but everyone understood the seriousness of the situation. A isolated incident will not stop us using this excellent service in the future.
"Relax"
What a relaxing way to get to Northern Ireland, far better than airport bustle and to treat yourself to a seat in the lounge is well worth it.
