"Smooth booking "
, we sailed on the Stena Line and booked a cabin on the way home all went smoothly. The only thing I would like to comment on is the amount of time it took 2 get a meal. We started queuing at 5:15 and finally got our meal at 6:20 which wasn't long before the boat docked.

"recent trip to germany"
had a great trip on both brittanica ferries easy to board ,well organised and great quality cabins. breakfast was great with lots of choice but the evening meal we had from the buffet on the way home wasn't great and very expensive at over 30 euros. all in all a good experience but I think the hull to Rotterdam/Zeebrugge ferries are still better. main reason I chose stena was the price.

"Easy on, not so easy off"
It is year's since I used the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry and really enjoyed my recent experience there and back on the Stena Britannica. We had a night crossing on the way over and a day time crossing on the way back and on both legs we booked a cabin, which I'd highly recommend. Not that the public areas aren't comfortable and keen but if you've a long drive at either end of your journey they're so comfy you can get a good rest. My one serious complaint is that on the return daytime journey we had a long wait to get a) to the car decks b) to leave the boat. I'd have liked more information about why that was.

"A mixed experience"
The good news is that the crossing was smooth and uneventful. We arrived on time. The bad news is that we were refused service in the restaurant because we did not want to order a main course. It was, of course, already nearly midnight, and one might think that the restaurant would be used to serving something light and easily digestible at this time, but we were expected to want to eat a full dinner. I can't see the point of offering this, and since the restaurant was half empty, presumably others felt the same.

"Fantastic Service"
Your ship and service for our recent trip to the Hook of Holland was second to non. The booking process was simple, the arrival check in was quick and efficient and the crossing timings were as advised. Will continue to use Stena Line.

"Holiday to Holland and Germany"
Both of our trips, Harwich to Hook van Holland and return were excellent. All the ships staff were very polite and helpful and most of the time we did not believe we were on a boat as we could feel no movement. We had an outside cabin on both trips and it made a real difference and we will do this again when we travel by boat.

"Thoroughly pleasant trip"
OK, it's a long trip, but once you accept that and relax, it's actually very relaxing. The alternative for me was a long drive from Calais, and back on return, so this was much more preferable. Just remember to take any books / magazines with you, as you can't return to your vehicle during the voyage. The staff were friendly and helpful, and facilities were just enough.

"Pleasantly Suprised "
We booked a cabin on the way there. It was clean (sofa a little stained) and comfortable. The food was not great quality. I bought a WiFi package which said it could be transferred to other devices. It couldn't and the staff did not know how to fix it as it was a new system. All the staff were nice & friendly though. On the way back you could transfer WiFi between devices. Overall a good experience on the ship. It would have been excellent if the food and WiFi was better. On the way back we did

"We enjoyed it. "
We booked the Stena plus lounge and, although the ferry was quite crowded, found we had a nice quiet place to sit. A bit more variety in the snacks would be welcome. The range of drinks on offer was very nice. The provision of power points was a good idea. Overall a very pleasant trip.

"Quick trip to Holland"
Both Stena boats were excellent ..as expected. We travelled out of school holidays and boats were not full. Toilets/catering/seating choices all great. Only gripe is length of time it took for unloading cars at Harwich last night..we were on deck 4..Also there were diversions along the Harwich/Colchester road so cars were directed towards Manningtree. I am grateful we are local and know the roads but for visitors hoping to get to A12/A14 Colchester/London/ Cambridge, it must have been a nightmare. I wonder if, in future, Stena could somehow be in contact with Highways Dept and tell passengers about road closures/alternative routes..difficult but would be appreciated,I'm sure, to UK visitors, especially those with children. hoping to get to overnight accomodation.
