Santander Portsmouth Ferry reviews

  • "Great service by Brittany Ferries, pity about appalling customer service by Direct Ferries"

Excellent services on board, only spoilt slightly by delays due to engine malfunction. Brittany Ferries immediately confirmed additional travel expenses would be paid after docking at an alternate port. But try getting the refund forwarded to you by Direct Ferries proved impossible. The moral of the story book direct with the ferry operator in future

  • "Great Ferry but poor overnight sleeping "

At time of booking couldn't get a cabin so had reclining seats. The reclining seats on the Pont Avent are in a room which had no lighting. So dark you couldn't read a book, or even see to get things out of your bag. At midnight there were kids running around with no parents nor staff around to see what was going on. Would not book again unless I had a cabin. That said, comfortable boat, motorhome inside and not on outside deck like last time. Food Good.

  • "Great trip - as always!"

Don't know how they pack us all in! Amazing! Punctuality - only the weather's fault!

  • "Excellent"

First time on a Spain to UK ferry. All the staff were kind and considerate, U had the 1 day cruise from what I am told it is the better option. Direct ferries customer help line staff are equally as good. 10 out of 10
