"Great experience "
Fantastic all round. Would highly recommend the premium lounge excellent value for money and great service
"Awful "
Direct ferries booked me on a sailing from Dover to Dunkirk with dad's, unfortunately after travelling from my home in London and staying in a local hotel overnight dfds refused me permission to board because direct ferries had totally misold the wrong tickets. leaving me no option than return to London. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. TERRIBLE..
"Overall good experience "
Smooth sailing, dedicated staff on each floor, decent variety of products on board. Unfortunately I found cheaper tickets on comparison sites than on the official website.
"French Border Control Dover "
Processing through French border control took 1.5 hrs. I won’t be using Dover port in the future if this does not improve.
"superb"
easy access good service
"Direct Ferry experience"
Expierience was really good, enjoyed journey, no hassels throughout the journey but only 1 thing is ship leaves 20mins late on both ways
"Great Experience"
It's a great way to rest after and before a long drive. A lot of space and good services.
"Free ticket"
We arrived 50 min late to DFDS Ferry Dunkirk to Dover due to being stuck for almost 3 hours in traffic. The lady at DFDS didn't even or flinch. She just gave us ticket to the next Ferry and said have a good trip. I have never seen this magnitude of hassle free service in my plus 40 years of live. Thank you and very much appreciated.
"Travel "
Fantastic service we was late for our ferry crossing due to accident on the way but with out any trouble at all was put straight onto another ship perfect service from start to finish
"not happy"
I wish I had bought a flexi ticket as the cost of changing my return was almost as much as buying a new ticket
"Smooth sailing "
It was one of the most straightforward sailing to and from Dover. From the check in to the end of the journey, it was trouble and stress free. The ship was clean and well equipped and we had a comfortable journey. Thank you !
"Happy with the service."
I booked premium lounge which has better standard and quiet area. You can enjoy ride with cup of coffe and sit on comfortable sofa.
"First time"
This was our first time travelling by ferry so we were a little anxious on what to expect. Once you’re out of the harbour you don’t realise the time, it’s literally plain sailing. We would definitely use again, even though the fish smelt so nice my hubby wasn’t a fan, other than that great. All staff were polite and friendly.
"Pleasant journey"
Very good and comfortable
"Great travel"
Very happy
"Recent trip "
Ship was on time. Able to access earlier voyage
"Excellent service "
Well organised, ran like clockwork
"Friendly and helpful staff"
Value added brought on by the pleasant and competent staff
"Service delay, my ship was 30 minutes delay, never told us earlier nor mentioned during the journey "
You need have few electric charging in the port, very disappointing not to see or the company hasn't integrated in the company policy to reduce the carbon footprint
"Overview"
Trip Experience: Timewise Not reliable, However convenience is Great. Staff not helpful, but place is big enough to move around and find someone more helpful
"Ferry good"
Sailed with dfds on the Dover-Dunkirk route this October 22. Crossing was about 45 minutes late on the way to France and on time on return to blighty. Boat was fairly quiet, plenty of space. Not a lot to do, but it's only a 2 hour crossing. It's a basic no frills service, run fairly efficiently, but we paid a low price. .
"Dover Dunkirk crossing Oct 2022"
Early crossing at 4 am was on time, very few people and comfortable. A bit expensive.
"Dover to Dunkirk "
Breakfast was a disgrace
"Great Service and Staff"
Great service on both journeys, couldn't have asked for any more really.
"Recent ferry crossing"
We had a positive experience with DFDS. The check in staff in the UK were very friendly and attentive. The outbound ship was quiet and disembarking was efficient. It was great to be able to return on an earlier crossing than we had boked too.
"Dunkirk to dover"
Good crossing though boarding was very long sitting from 4pm to 5.50 with small children in the car communication could have been better
"Wonderfull"
Very good ferry , SH094007D time, fresh food , nice and clean
"Review"

"Dunkirk to Dover"
Nice ship nice trip. Thoroughly recommended.
"Excellent way to travel"
Pleasant way to travel, easy and comfortable.
"Stress-free travelling "
We travelled from Dover to Dunkirk, and the ferry journey was an enjoyable break in our journey where we could relax and enjoy some family time. The ferry was recently refurbished with thoughtful design so the lounge and restaurant were comfortable, calm and stylish. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
"Dunkirk - DOver"
Arriving early at the port I was immediately put on an earlier ferry. Service on board , as usual, good. Premium lounge is exellent
"Dunquerk Dover Dunquerk"
DFDS has a very flexible approach to passenger arrivals. I was too late arriving for both journies because I miscalculated the time required to fight my way through roadworks on both sides of the Channel. This flexibility avoids the necessity for drivers to undertake a dangerous driving style in order to catch the ferry. I live in Germany and using the Dunquerk crossing instead of Calais saves me almost 100Km
"Very Good Service"
It was a great journey as the service was very good
"Good experience"
