How To Get To Venice Ferry Port

Venice Ferry Port by Car
Venezia Lines Ferries depart from San Basilio Terminal while Minoan Lines depart from Stazione Marittima Magazzino. San Basilio Terminal is at the end of Zattere area, approximately 500m from San Sebastiano Church. Venice is linked to mainland Italy through 3 distinct areas known as: Piazzale Roma bus station, Tronchetto, and the Santa Lucia Railway Station. These are the only areas in Venice which can be reached by car. You can also park your vehicle in Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, but please remember that parking in Venice can be very expensive. Venice Ferry Port by Train
Tronchetto and Santa Lucia Railway station are approximately 2km from San Basilio Ferry Port which can either be reached on foot or by using the ACTV 'Vaporetto' public Water line (black route) Route 2 (10-20 mins in duration). Once you get off the boat, you should take a left turn and cross a little wooden bridge, where you will find the San Basilio Ferry terminal.
