  • "Excellent Service!"

We had an inside cabin on both sailings. The facilities in the cabins were excellent and they were both very clean. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff we dealt with both on the ferry and at the terminals. We'd definitely use Stena Line again!

  • "A good night's sleep !"

This is quite simply the best ferry service. Driving onto the ferry is straightforward. The cabins are perfect for a good night's sleep. The beds are very comfortable and it is great to be able to shower after a long drive. The staff on the ferry are particularly helpful and go out of their way to be friendly and thoughtful. The food served in the restaurants is reasonably priced and of a good quality. Going on this ferry was the best bit of my journey.

  • "Clean and Comfortable "

The boat was clean and comfortable. It arrived on time and the trip was uneventful. The tannoy could have been louder as we were unable to hear the broadcasts over the general chatter. The food and drinks were good but expensive.

  • "Crossing on Hollandica"

Took a Captain Class cabin for the overnight passage to Hook of Holland, the cabin was spacious and well fitted. The range of included drinks and snacks was great. We didn't eat on board on this trip because of the timing. However we had a great meal in the restaurant on the way back. The extra cost of the Captain Class cabin was well worth it as we had a great night's sleep in very comfortable beds. Word of advice always take extra pillows if you usually use two.

  • "No hold ups "

Booked a night crossing from Harwich to Hook of Holland, cabin small but perfectly adequate for a night crossing. Clean and tidy, with shower. Perfect crossing, brilliant night sleep. Missed our booked ferry on way home, very helpful lady on reception at Hook of Holland, booked a 10pm crossing, only had to pay additional £76 for a cabin, as all night crossing you mus have a cabin booked. Again perfect crossing and no hold up, unlike Dover!! Will be booking through Stena from Harwich in future.

  • "very smooth & comfortable crossing"

we found the Stena ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland good value for money: they have modern ships and sail to the timetable. The facilities on board are excellent and the staff is very friendly. The only thing: changing a booking is horribly expensive

  • "Hook to Harwich"

A beautiful boat, very nicely laid out, decorated, and especially clean. A very competent and friendly crew, especially the captain, who I met by chance in a corridor! The weather was so beautiful that one wished more seating outdoors, and the noise level in the restaurant was a little overwhelming. We also had to wait maybe ten minutes too long in the cramped exits to return to our cars. But

  • "First ever voyage"

My wife & I embarked on our first voyage from Hook to Harwich. The experience was ok, but to be honest I still think that the Eurotunnel is the better option. We sailed over during the day, the noise and hustle & bustle within the ship meant that you couldn't just sit back and relax. The only place to get a little quiet time was to purchase your own cabin (Which, despite discounted, could have been offered at a much cheaper price, in my opinion). The journey back was extremely pleasant, we sailed home at night. This meant we went straight to our cabins and had a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was satisfactory, although I probably wouldn't purchase in the future, just to get an extra hour in bed! The staff on the ship were extremely pleasant and very helpful!

  • "Hook of Holland trip"

We recently travelled from Hook of Holland to Harwich and i would like to say we had a lovely time. Plenty for the children to do, the puppet/magiv show was fantastic. Plenty of places to eat and relax. Very happy with our trip. We are currently looking into booking a return journey from Harwich to Hook of Holland for next summer. This time we will be booking a cabin. See you soon 😊

  • "Hook of Holland -Harwich"

Recently travelled on this ferry during the day. We almost missed this ferry as we were caught up in a traffic jam whilst travelling to the port. The check in staff were very understanding and allowed us on even though we're cutting it a bit fine! On board we had a cabin for the journey which meant we could rest and relax without being in the way of other people. Good journey across, and would recommend it to anyone.

  • "Harwich to Hoek van Holland"

A really pleasant experience for the whole family. Films on board helped pass the time for the boys aged 11 and 13 and you could also hire games and even a football or basketball to play on deck in the caged football area! Wind made that a bit difficult this time but a great idea. It was a very relaxing way to start the holiday and for those who need more rest you can also hire cabins when you get on board for a reasonable cost.
