Virtu Ferries has expressed interest in the Gozo – Malta route since the Company’s incorporation in 1988. Now that the fast ferry passenger service has been liberalised, Virtu has applied to Transport Malta for a licence to operate and they are looking forward to replicating the success achieved over the last 33 years on international lines, including the route operating in between Malta and Sicily.

Virtu Ferries Gozo will be serving over 150 trips per week for passengers only, with a journey time of less than 45 minutes. The service will be operated by their catamarans San Frangisk and San Pawl.
