Hirtshals is a town in the North Jutland County on the north coast of the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark.

Hirtshals is one of the most important fishing ports in Denmark, and there´s always plenty going on in the harbour area. There´s a unique atmosphere at "Monument og Trappe" and "Den Grønne Plads", which connects the port with the town - right in the centre with direct access to the pedestrian precinct.
