Located on the Baltic Sea coast, the Polish city of Gdynia is in the Pomeranian Voivodeship and is an important port in Gdansk Bay. The city hosts a number of cultural events each year. From the city's port there are regular ferry services between Poland and Sweden. Passenger facilities are limited and therefore it is advisable that passengers travelling through the port purchase what ever they need in the city. A single ferry service, run by Stena Lines, operates from the port to Karlskrona in Sweden. Crossings take place twice a day and have a journey time of 12 hours.
