  • "Great crossings in the north!"

Never been in northern Scotland before and we went all the way up to Orkney, and did the crossings with Northlink Ferries. It was a great experience! The service is outstanding, personnel is warm and very professional, punctuality at its best, great food and the vessel is impeccable! Not much more to say, an experience I will remember for ever!

  • "Wonderful holiday in Orkney, transported there by a North Link Ferry."

Excellent, efficient service. We didn't try the catering, as we preferred to be on deck, but I'm willing to bet it would be 4 or 5*!

  • "Great boat trips of the world"

It is amazing that £20 can buy such a slice of heaven on a boat. The transfer time is 90 minutes, and we spent the whole time on deck, just going from one "Wow" to the next. Because the boat sails at 7pm we were able to witness the sunset in all its glory over the beautiful Orkney Isles, and it was spine-chilling to sail in through Scapa Flow with all its submerged history. Stromness absolutely has to be approached from the sea - such pretty, wee gray houses seeming to tumble down the hillside to the water.
