National Ferries Company, or NFC, is owned by the Sultanate of Oman’s government and is now available with Direct Ferries.
NFC provides ferry connections between various destinations along the Omani coast including Muscat, Khasab, Lima, Shinas and Dibba as well as Masirah Island, providing easy links between the ports of the long coastline for both citizens and tourists alike.
NFC’s fleet consists of the two fastest high-speed ferries in the world; ‘Shinas’ and ‘Hormuz’, which both are capable of reaching speeds of up to 55 knots.
On board you’ll find a good selection of facilities including a great choice of seating options, tv screens, drinks and light refreshments. During the crossing you can also enjoy the view of the picturesque and majestic coastline.
