From the South follow the M6/A74 past Carlisle to Gretna, & then take the A75 west directly to Stranraer. Follow the signs for the Ferry Port which is located close to the Town Centre.
From the North Stranraer is reached by following the A77 Coast Road from Ayr.

All trains arrive and depart from Stranraer Station which is located beside the Stena Line foot passenger terminal.

There is a small short stay car park opposite the main terminal which is mainly used for drop off and pick up of passengers. There is also a larger short and long stay car park 200 yards from the main terminal opposite the Police Station.
