  • "Stranraer to Larne"

Access roads to both ports are good. The crossing takes about two hours and the ferries are comfortable with lots of facilities. The crossing times were punctually met. Very satisfied with the crossing.

  • "Excellent service"

We have always been impressed with the service from Direct Ferries. The staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful - even at 4am! The ship is always clean and the journey comfortable. Would highly recommend.

  • "Smooth passage"

I like to spend my time on deck and would prefer a bit more space available for passengers. Otherwise I can see nothing to complain about. I did not sample the food so can't comment on that.

  • "To Ireland with no hitch"

It was nice to relax and put our feet up after a long slog up the M62 and then the M6, a nice pint of Guinness and fish and chips went down well and we were fit to motor on before the boat docked at Larne, Thanks to all the crew and staff. Well done.

  • "very enjoyable wirh P &O Ferries"

I really enjoyed the experience using P & O . The staff was very helpful, the ship was very tidy and clean and ship left on the correct times stated. Also it was a bonus that I could take my dog which alot of ferries wont allow or it takes a longer route. I will be using this route many times because my other half lives in Ireland.. Well pleased with P & O ferries.thank you directferries.

  • "Crossing from Cairnryan to Larne"

My friend from Darwin and me from Christchurch, NZ sailed on a 10.30 crossing. It took 2 hours, very calm, good service, friendly staff. Very efficient. Drove on with a car. Stayed night before at Cairnryan bed and breakfast 3 minutes away. Recommend both

  • "Travel with Ruby (our campervan)"

Decided on 7.30 a.m. a crossing in order to have full day sightseeing in Northern Ireland. Boarding was easy, ship departed/arrived on time. Had a well cooked Ulster Fry to set us up for the day. A great start to brilliant holiday.

  • "Excellent Service"

We always use P & O on our annual visits to Northern Ireland, and are always highly satisfied with our trips. Because P & O travel to the port of Larne, it is much more convenient for where we stay than going into Belfast - I also believe that it is a faster crossing - 2hrs instead of 3.

  • "Good crossing"

We used the bar for a snack and coffee and to sit. Although not particularly noisey on the crossing to Larne the return trip was a different matter; with 3 children screaming it became unpleasant in the bar and as the parents were obviously not prepared to take them to the play area we had to move. Thank goodness it's a short crossing, for this reason and being term time I had not booked the quiet lounge.
