The evening ferry from Larne to Cairnryan was a relaxing two hour break. There is minimum fuss on arrival and traveling by motorcycle I was waved on first. Reassuringly the bike was carefully secured by the deckhand, always a concern for bikers! The crossing was extraordinarily calm (can't guarantee this part!) and I sat with a medicinal Guinness watching from the forward lounge as the sun went down. The staff were friendly and courteous. If there had been a better restaurant I'd have sat for dinner.

I have never used the ferry to go over the water to N. Ireland before but I will definitely be doing it again. It is a straight forward system when arriving at the port and the ferry itself is up to a clean standard has great facilities. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

"Trip to Ireland"
Going through check in was very quick & efficient. Facilities before going on board was very good, it also helped to stretch your legs after a long journey. Boarding and disembarking was very easy & quick. Once on board all facilities were very good. I recommend the cinema, if you don't mind the noise of the film it's easier to have a nap in there. All in all everything went smoothly, excellent service, staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again.

"2 return trips in one week."
Very nice ship with very pleasant staff. The members cabin is very relaxing which includes light refreshments and worth the extra cost. If you pay for priority boarding, you have to turn up early. We checked in 35 minutes before departure, were among the last 20 cars to board and we're actually the last car to get off. Not great priority treatment. Quite pricy for daytime travel, but still a nice trip.

Excellent all round service. Vessel was clean and tidy, no complaints. Crossing was very smooth but mainly because the sea was like a mill pond. Found staff helpful and courteous. Ten out of ten.

"Birthday holiday to Ireland"
This was an extra holiday to Ireland this year to celebrate a special birthday for my wife. We travel from Cairnryan to Larne every year for one of our holidays, we find P&O the best ferry for many reasons. We live on the Isle of Arran so know what makes a ferry journey that bit special and P&O are special from the minute you arrive at the ferry terminal. The staff at the ticket booth are welcoming, friendly and most helpful, the security are polite and thorough, driving onto the ferry is easy and onboard is very spacious so easy to park and plenty of room getting in and out of your car. Once onboard we find the food very good quality and well priced, sometimes we go and watch a film to pass the journey time, any questions you have are dealt you very helpful staff plus my wife enjoys the shop. We will be back in August for our other holiday can't wait.
