Operated by LD Lines on the Portsmouth Le Havre route

"Fast Ferry to France"

Reviewed 15 September 2011 by Leeroy

I travelled across on foot to see some freinds at their Chateau in August. This is my impression of the LD Lines Ship: - Food was average - poor choice, but relatively tasty - The ship was clean, especially the toilets - a big bonus - The barman knew how to pour a pint (or three). Expensive though! - We boarded and departed on time and were only a few minutes late arriving. I'd definately do it again

"LD Lines summer 2011"

Reviewed 20 January 2012 by AnnaV

We booked to travel with high expectations, having used other ferry companies to France. We were very disappointed, the ship was noisy, the food choices limited and expensive. No restaurant when we travelled meant that you were restricted to eating in the airline style seats. The return journey was even worse, the delays in sailing was 1 1/2 hours which might have been helped if staff had communicated to the passengers. The lack of facilities at Le Harve (only vending machines for drinks) was poor. No explanation given for the delay. We felt very disappointed with the experience.
