Irish Sea Express

The Irish Sea Express fast craft service from Liverpool to Dublin ceased operation on 8th October 2005.
Having carried up to 60,000 passengers and 20,000 cars from May 2005, a surge in fuel costs, plus competition from other ferry operators was blamed for the collapse.

Although the service has not been replaced, there is no shortage of alternatives.
