HD Ferries ceased all services in September 2008 and announced on the 12th February 2009 that there were no sailings scheduled for 2009.

HD Ferries operated a value for money, fast ferry passenger and freight service between the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey) and France (St Malo).

The HD Ferries service and pricing was designed to provide a high speed, no frills, value for money service for both passenger and freight traffic.

HD Ferries ship - HD1 supported 100 cars, or 70 cars and 10 freight vehicles with space for up to 400 passengers in a spacious and comfortable environment.
