| | From the city center via the Göta Älv bridge:
Be in the right hand lane. Follow signs towards Hisingen. As you get off the bridge take the first exit on the right, follow signs to Frihamnen and then signs to DFDS Seaways.
From E6/E20 South through the Tingstadstunnel:
Follow signs towards Oslo. As you exit the tunnel follow signs towards Öckerö. Take the exit at Hjalmar Brantingsmotet. Turn right and follow signs to Frihamnen. At the traffic lights turn right and follow signs to DFDS Seaways.
From E6 North:
Drive towards the Tingstadstunnel and turn right before the tunnel following signs towards Öckerö. Take the exit at Hjalmar Brantingsmotet. Turn right and follow signs to Frihamnen. At the traffic lights turn right and follow signs to DFDS Seaways. | | |

| | For the DFDS Gothenburg ferry terminal use trams no.2, 4 or 5. Exit at tram stop Frihamnen. Walk up the stairs and turn right. Walk straight ahead until you see DFDS Seaways sign leading towards the terminal building (Kajskjul 107). It takes approx 10 minutes to walk.
For the Stena Line terminal use trams no. 3 or 9 from Gothenburg centre | | |
