Fastnet Line ran the ferry service between Swansea and Cork until their suspension in November 2011 and subsequent closure in February 2012.

Fastnet Line ferry services were operated by their ship - 'The Julia'.

Fastnet Line were set up in the spring of 2009 following a long public campaign to reintroduce the popular car ferry service previously operated by Swansea Cork Ferries up to 2006. In November 2011 however, due to high fuel prices and the economic climate, Swansea Cork ferry services were suspended and Fastnet Line were put in to 'interim examinership'.

Whilst no replacement has surfaced, there are 2 very good alternative services operating from Fishguard and Pembroke to Rosslare.
