Fastnet Line ran the ferry service between Swansea and Cork until their suspension in November 2011 and subsequent closure in February 2012.
Fastnet Line ferry services were operated by their ship - 'The Julia'.
Fastnet Line were set up in the spring of 2009 following a long public campaign to reintroduce the popular car ferry service previously operated by Swansea Cork Ferries up to 2006. However towards the end of 2011, due to high fuel prices and the economic climate the service was suspended and subsequently ceased.
