Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port is located about 13Km (8 miles) south of Dublin city centre. Extensive signage on all main roads leading to the ferry port give clear directions.

Dublin Area Rapid Transport (DART) trains run approximately every 20 minutes through Dun Laoghaire. The station is located directly across the road from the ferry terminal. There are 450 Pay and Display car parking spaces in and around the ferry terminal. The parking is operated by the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company. In addition, there are several Park and Display machines located around the terminal which take coin and notes. There are machines in the underground car park which accept credit cards. Payment can also be made at the Harbour Police desk located in the concourse.
