Cowes features 2 ferry terminals separated by the river Medina. East Cowes terminal (vehicle ferry services from Southampton) is at Trinity Road, PO32 6RF while West Cowes terminal (Red Jet Hi-Speed foot passenger services from Southampton) is in Fountain Yard, PO31 7AR. A floating bridge (passengers & non-freight vehicles) connects East and West Cowes, avoiding an approximate 30-40 minute journey by road.
Cowes Ferry Port by Taxi
There is a taxi rank in Fountain Yard (tel. 0800 043 6343) just outside the entrance to Red Funnel's West Cowes terminal. Allow 15-20 minutes for a journey between West Cowes and Newport.

At East Cowes, taxis drop-off and pick-up just outside the terminal entrance.
