The Italian city of Pescara is located in the Abruzzo region of Italy and lies on the Adriatic Sea coast, at the mouth of the Aterno-Pescara River. One of the most visited sites in Pescara is the birthplace of Gabriele D'Annunzio and also the Vittoria Colonna Museum of Modern Art.
