Bojden Attractions

Bojden is located on the Danish islands Fyn, which is mostly known for its upbringing of the poetry H.C. Andersen, who was born and grew up in Odense, Denmark’s 3 largest city. The city has a number of museums devoted to the writer, most known are the ones at his childhood home and his later home were he grew up. Both places have been converted from homes to museums, and contain details on both his private life and upbringing and his poetry. ‘H.C. Andersen’s Hus’, which is the museum in the house of his upbringing, has been open as a museum since 1908, which makes it one of the world’s oldest poetry museums. In Horne, 5 km from Bojden, is the only church, built as a fortification, on Fyn. On the nearby Hvedholm Castle, you will find a wine basement and arts and crafts. In all of Bojden and surrounding the town, are little fishing towns, which are great to visit, because of their old buildings and the old feel of lifestyle, and are also ideal for those enjoying fishing.
